"I thought you weren't going to show up. You are already exceeding my expectations." Alex said with a small smirk on her face.
"Please, come in."
That's when I noticed what she was wearing. Or I should say what she wasn't wearing. She had a burgundy lace underwear set. Logan was practically drooling and I had to hit his arm to snap him out of it.
We followed her into what looked like a living room, but what kind of living room has a chandelier hanging from the perfectly polished ceiling along with what looked like antique furniture that must've cost a fortune?
She knew we were impressed; I could tell by that little smirk on her face. Her heels clacking against the shiny tile sounded so seductive, as if they were telling you to follow her wherever she went.
We walked out of the living room and went up a glass spiral staircase, and came face to face with a door labeled "Alex." Giggling and moaning came from the other side of it, and Logan immeadiately stepped forward, reaching for the handle.
But Alex stopped him right before he opened it and motioned for me to open it.
"Once you open that door, there's no going back Lauralie...And you belong to me," Alex said.
I let go of the doorknob, and tried to make sense of what she was telling me. Is it worth whatever is behind that door, just for the money? I looked over at Logan and he looked back with pleading eyes. I knew what he wanted me to do, so I smiled and pushed open the door. I never expected to see what was right in front of my face. I didn't know what to say or what to do next, so I just stood there, looking like an idiot.
"Logan, honey, close your mouth you might catch a fly," Alex said while tapping him under his chin.
"Alright. So Lauralie, Logan... welcome to The Penthouse."
