Clara ran briskly, across the flaming trees. All that was around her were dead Lyraxes, and dead Energy clan members. She breathed very heavily, and her lungs felt as if they were on fire; but she wouldn't stop. She'd to get to Master Reingyoku fast, before Tomoura kills Trevor and Soran.
As she continued running, she mistakenly bumped into a very huge and monstrous Lyrax. The Lyrax glared at her, with a wide grin, showing his razor sharp teeth.
The Lyrax immediately sent his fist after Clara, with tremendous speed that a being of his size shouldn't have.
"Get away!" Clara screamed, thrusting her arms forward.
A huge, pointy, icicle shot out of Clara's palms, and pierced into the Lyrax's body. The Lyrax dropped flat to the ground, right beside Clara. Clara just sighed out of relief, and gasped when she scouted briefly, around herself:
"No."
With all her running, she hadn't noticed it, all the destruction that surrounded her, and the flames that had spread across the forest even more quicker than when it'd started.
"Master Reingyoku." Clara gasped, preparing to resume her running, but she stopped abruptly, and stared at the darkening sky.
A dark figure suddenly landed, a few feet away from her. He ran his arms across his long, dark hair and turned to face Clara.
"Skyler." Clara noticed, causing a huge icicle to appear in her left grip.
"Doesn't the spreading nature of fire excite you?" He smirked, gazing from Clara, to the icicle "So you figured it out, huh?"
"You didn't make it too difficult." Clara answered, confidently "Although, I couldn't figure out the 'why' part. Why would you betray Master Kohaku? If he was to hear about this . . ."
"You wouldn't understand." Skyler told her "I should be off by now, but I can't allow Tomoura and his Lyraxes to have all the fun now, can I?"
"You've gone crazy. How can you dishonour the name of the Fire clan like this?" Clara asked him, clenching her other fist.
"I'm just doing what the other Fire clan members don't have the courage to do."
"What about Stanis? He'll be heart broken when he hears that his own cousin . . ."
"I couldn't even care less." Skyler cut her out, stretching his right arm, with a smirk "Stanis is as naive as the rest. Eliminating him, will be my top priority, for his black flames are more powerful than any other flames a Fire manipulator could control." Then he bellowed "He's a threat! I'll find a way to surpass him, with my blue flames!"
A huge burst of blue flames blasted out of his arm, and shot towards Clara. Clara quickly fell on her knees, pressed her palms against the ground, and chanted:
"Ice wall!"
A huge wall, made of pointy projections of ice, sprouted from under the ground, and stood tall in front of Clara, as the blast of blue flames got closer. The blue flames hit the ice wall with a loud bang, and kept pushing.
"It's going to . . ." Clara gasped, noticing the cracks that'd started to appear around the ice wall "His blue flames are too powerful."
Clara quickly rolled out of danger, and the ice wall got engulfed by the blue flames. The blue flames blasted across the forest, burning the trees in its path to ash.
"This is the power of blue fire?" Clara gasped with a frown "And Stanis is supposed to be more powerful than this?"
At once, Clara gasped and jumped with a flip in the air. Immediately after, three balls of blue fire flew below her, and exploded upon hitting the trees that were already on fire.
