"Who was Laena again?"

The younger children of Viserys and Alicent who where still in King's Landing where heading together towards the carriage that would take them to the port.

Aemond turned to look at his sister confused, "Really? You don't know who she is?"

"You mean "was", she's dead, and yes. I don't."

"You should really start reading more. Or at least pay attention to our parents talking."

"I don't see why. I'm betrothed to you, you won't be king it anything, the best honour you could get is being a member of the council."

He didn't answer to that, instead he decided to tell his sister again about their family. "Rhaenyra has a husband, he had a sister, Laena. Laena married Daemon, our father's brother."

"Great, I was wondering why we didn't have an aunt / cousin as well for a while."

At that not even Aemond could hide his smile. Maybe if they got to joke like that from time to time it wouldn't be so difficult to be married after all.

"She was riding the biggest dragon alive."

Aemond said as the were entering the carriage. Helaena and Aegon were already inside accompanied by their mother, the queen.

"At last! You two should learn that you should never make someone wait for you, unless you have a pretty good reason."

"Explaining Daela our family line seems a pretty solid reason."

Four pairs of eyes turned to look at the young girl who felt her cheeks reddening. She turned her head slightly down and smiled apologetically. "It won't happen again."

Alicent shook her head and then moved out of the carriage to join her husband in his. "Behave yourselves. I don't want you to come out of this carriage with your hair in eachother's fingers."

For some minutes after their mother had left them they followed her instructions. They even stopped talking for a while, each of them thinking of something else. Daela was looking closely each one of them. Aegon was probably thinking of a woman or wine or something similar to these things. Helaena was lost inside her weird dreams that no one could actually understand. Aemond without a doubt was thinking about Laena's dragon.

"So, brother, Laena's dragon huh?"

"Aegon...", Helaena took her younger brother's side "Don't."

He made a fun expression and repeated her words mockingly "Aegon don't. Yes go take his side."

"Why wouldn't she?"

"Your obsession with dragons goes beyond limit."

"You stop quoting our mother. But Aemond you can't even think about it."

"And why not? She's a free dragon now. Without a rider."

His three siblings shook their heads disappointed. "She's Rhaena's to claim." Helaena said and for the first time Aegon seemed to agree with what she had just said.

"But you can go talk to her, persuade her to be your wife, maybe you can share." the boy with the wavy hair said and laughed looking for his youngest sister's smile as well but she remained serious.

"If she wanted the dragon she could've claimed her already."

"She might be scared. After all Vaghar is the biggest dragon alive."

"Her mother died in flames. She wouldn't be afraid of the dragon. She'd look like her mother, she must be fearless."

Helaena shook her head, agreeing with her sister "And ger mother just died. The last thing she would think was to claim her dragon right away."

"Yes it'd be like she was waiting for her death."

Aemond raised his shoulders with indifference, he didn't care. He would take that dragon whatever his sisters were telling him. They had to stop making fun of him and that would be the only way. Up till then he was the little boy who knew his house's history and was reading philosophy. He'd change that. He was thinking more of himself.

"Do you think we should give Jace and Luke our condolences?"

Daela shocked everyone with her question. Helaena shook her head disappointed at her sister's question. Aegon tried to remain serious but instead broke down laughing and Aemond just looked at her surprised.

"Seriously now? What are you going to tell them?"

Aegon took this line as his chance to shine, he tried to look sad and respectful and looked his brother straight to his eyes, "My sweet nephew, my condolences, your father was a good, strong man."

Aemond laughed along, "I hope you'll turn out to be as strong as your father."

The two girls exchanged again a glance and lowered their heads completely disappointed with how these two were handling it. "At least try to be respectful. And towards our cousins as well." The older said.

"How come we've never seen them?" Daela asked Helaena while the two brothers were still making fun of possible things to say to their nephews.

"Their father, Daemon, didn't have the best relationship with our father, despite them being brothers. He was too fierce for our father's likeness."

"Rhaenyra was described like that when she was our age. I think it's a good thing. She's going to be a queen now."

Her sister lowered her glance and looked at the insect on her hands. She began murmuring something without being heard.

"Great, she started again..." Aegon said with disdain in his voice for his soon to be wife. He despised the fact that she was the one to marry. That was the turning point in him. Making decisions for him, ruining his life, taking away from him the ability to choose what he wanted.

"Hands turn loom." The girl started saying inaudibly.

Aemond sifted in his seat so he could be near her. Daela noticed and looked at her older brother, he wasn't lating attention to them, he was looking somewhere without actually seeing what was there. He was imagining something probably.

"Helaena, what is it?"

"Spool of green
Spool of black"

"Oh please tell her to shut up. Probably she'll listen to you."

"Stop. You don't understand her."

"That's the point actually, no one understands her. She's a lunatic."

By the time they had reached the harbour, from where they'd go to Driftmark, all of them four had found a reason no to talk to eachother. Aegon was constantly mad at Helaena, she was lost inside her dreams. Aemond had took her side while thinking of stealing Rhaena's dragon. Daela was thinking of what she should say to Jace and Luke now that she knew. How was she supposed to act around them now? And maybe Luke didn't know, but Jace did and he should be mourning Harwin's loss as well. And then something more, how would she face her sister after discovering that? She was still her role model, or was she an unfaithful woman?

The door opened and started getting onto the ship.

Hello, sorry for taking me so long to update. This is not the best chapter I have to admit but while trying to follow the order of the episodes and focus on Daela. I promise you soon we'll be having more of Jace and other characters as well.

Thank you again for all the likes and support. :)
