Seulgi's POV
"Byul! Here's the chords for the new track" I handed Moonbyul the sheet of paper containing the chords for the new track that I composed.
"Thanks! You gave one to Siyeon yet?" She asked. I shook my head.
"I couldn't find her this morning but I send her a copy last night. Anyways, I spoke with Yoohyeon.. I hope she wins the election so we get to perform and become the school's band representative" she nodded.
"Yea, I hope so too. Might be a little tough though.. her competitor is very well known and well.. she's already an existing member of the council so naturally, people will vote for someone they are familiar with" Sejeong replied.
"Let's just put our faith into Yoohyeon, I badly want this to be a success. At least as soon as before all of us graduate" I said before looking at them. Sejeong smiled.
"That would be nice" Byul replied.
"Hey guys! Sorry, I had to ran some errands. I hope I'm not too late.." Siyeon apologized before fixing her mic.
"Just right on time for our new track" I smiled.
"Oh uh.. I invited Yoohyeon. She said she'll be here in a few" Siyeon informed earning a thumbs up from the rest of us.
"That's cool! Now, let's start" I said as the lights dim, which is being controlled by our good friend, Seola.

Yoohyeon's POV
As I was walking to the room, I saw Irene by the door. Should I approach her?
"Oh? Irene-ssi? Do you want to come in with me?" I asked as I saw her standing by the opened basement door. I saw how hurriedly she wiped her tears, maybe hoping I did not see the tears that left her eyes.
"Aniyo. Please don't mention me" she said before leaving me confused.
I tilted my head to the side before walking inside the basement to watch the performance. The band members immediately recognized me.
Seulgi:

Siyeon:

Sejeong:

Siyeon:

I couldn't help but to be amazed by what I had just listened to. I couldn't help but to give them a standing ovation while clapping my hands.
"Woah.. you guys are seriously so good.. that lyrics.. that's deep" I said. Seulgi gave me a smile before telling me to sit back down.
"Thank you" Seulgi replied shyly.
"That's how it is if you write lyrics from the heart, Yoohyeon-ah" Moonbyul replied.
I scratched my nape before nodding, I wondered if there's a history between Seulgi and Irene as I definitely saw Irene wiping her tears earlier. I shook the idea before giving everyone my innocent smile.
"YAH KIM YOOHYEON! YOU!" They all looked at the person who just shouted and it was Minji.
"Oof.. what did you do..?" Siyeon asked as she put her hands on my shoulders.
"Oh, hey.. Minji-ssi" I greeted her nicely but she just glared at me before slapping my face causing everyone to panic. I guess I deserve that..
"Woah.. Minji, what the hell?" Seulgi said angrily.
"Before you get mad, ask what your friend did yesterday! Oh I can't wait till I become the president, I can't wait to disband your petty little glee club" Minji said angrily before poking my chest.
"The best will win and it's not you" she said before walking out. I narrowed my eyes before smiling and touching my now probably red face.
"Well.. that's an interesting trope" Seola said while giggling.
"Are you ok?" Siyeon asked out of concern. I nodded.
"Heh.. it has been a while since someone slapped me.. she's interesting, isn't she? Gotta go" I said before sprinting to catch up with her.
"YAH!" I heard Moonbyul shouted but it didn't do anything as I'm already quite far and left them dumbfounded.
