"Oh! Look at the time, I must go get ready for the ball." Enola said, looking at a watch on her wrist that wasn't there, and bustled towards the front door.

"Not so fast." Adeline said, and Enola came to a halt.

Adeline walked to where the young girl was hovering by the door, and pulled her into a quick hug.

"None of your usual shenanigans tonight, please. Stay safe."

"I will try my hardest, whilst fulfilling the obligations of my tasks." Enola replied.

"Very diplomatic of you, Enola." Adeline said, with narrowed eyes.

"You better get going." And with a small shove, Enola was once again on her way out the door, and to get ready for the Lyon's Ball.

Adeline who eventually had sorted through her old dresses – and was determined to sneak them into Enola's belongings – was now back in the bedroom reorganising.

Hearing the front door open and shut, she walked out to see Sherlock shrugging off his coat.

"How did it go?" Adeline asked.

"There wasn't much I could do for Enola, but I did find an interesting lead that may connect our cases." Sherlock replied.

"Oh?" Adeline said, sitting herself down on the couch. Sherlock soon followed, but spread himself out and placed his head onto her lap.

"The five banks that are south of the river that appeared to have no links." Sherlock said to Adeline to remind her of the facts of the case.

"Yes." Adeline responded, and started to comb her fingers through Sherlock's hair.

"I believe I have found the missing key. Right in the middle of them is the Lyon's Match Making factory." Sherlock told Adeline.

"Which could potentially involve yourself in Enola's case." Adeline stated. Sherlock scoffed.

"More like Enola would be involved in my case."

Adeline rolled her eyes and responded.

"You know you could accept help from your sister sometimes, or literally other than me."

"You are my closest confident Addy, and the only one I would ever need. I am at my happiest with you." Sherlock said, with his eyes trained on her face, Adeline smiled down at him and cupped his face with her hand.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear those words, but you could at least have one friend outside the family." Adeline replied. Sherlock rolled his eyes back at Adeline, and then sat back up.

"I have some more work to do before the night ends... Where is Enola?" Sherlock asked after a pause.

"Nice of you to finally realise. She is at a ball, for her investigation." Adeline told her.

"Not exactly lying low is she? It's not like she has a warrant for her arrest, on the charge of murder no less." Sherlock said with a huff.

"You know your sister, just as stubborn as you, she'll be back for the night." Adeline reassured, and walked to the kitchen to see what she could cook up, although she lacked some basic cooking skills.

Sherlock entered his study area, and promptly fell into his investigation mode

After Adeline finished eating her dinner, and leaving some aside for Sherlock for when he would complete his research for the night, Adeline headed to the study.

"I have put some dinner–" Adeline stared at Sherlock's map, which was once filled with numbers and strings, now had a clear message written across it.

"–Why does it say, 'Good to meet you Sherlock Holmes'?"

"The person is more cunning than I thought, but they have me their name, Moriarty," Sherlock replied

"Does Moriarty mean anything to you? Or could it mean something else?" Adeline asked.

"I do not know at this point, but at least I have gotten somewhere tonight." Sherlock said with a tired smile, and looked over to Adeline.

"Will you come to bed?" Adeline questioned, and held her hand out to Sherlock, to beckon him over.

"Yes, I believe I will." Sherlock said and got up taking her hand, and leading them towards the bedroom.

However before they could take two steps, a whittling sound occurred, the married couple shared a look, before turning back to Sherlock's study

"Is that the fax?" Adeline said.

"Yes, who is sending messages at this time." Sherlock replied, and the pair walked to the back of the study again, where Sherlock then picked up the message..

"It's from Lestrade," Sherlock said, confused, as to why the man was sending them a message at such a late hour.

"Well? What does it say, Sherlock?" Adeline asked, Sherlock let out a sigh before reading out the note.

"Enola has been arrested. Is what it says." Before the man started out the study, grabbing his coat and walking to the door, with a hurried.

"I'll sort this out."

Then the door slammed shut. Adeline stared at the back of the door with a huff then walked to her bedroom, could this count as a third incident with the Holmes' in 24 hours.
