When Sally was captured by Hades and taken to the underworld she would talk with Persephone to pass the time. When the goddess heard of what had happened to Sally's parents she took pity on her. Persephone took Sally to see her parents, the Jacksons. Sally had to swear on the river six that she would tell no one what happened, so as much as it pained her she had to lie to her son.
