16 " BEHIND THE TRUTH "

The moment their food has served and started eating, nagsimula na din si Kenneth magsalita confesses What he truly feels for her. He clears his throat and was kinda nervous but he believes this is the right time before it's too late. 

"Uhm Ade , I have to tell you something " said Kenneth 

"Hmmm? " Ade responded habang pinunasan niya ang kanyang bibig at tumigil kumain to pay attention to whatever he's about to say 

" I have known you for years now and untill now i could still remember the moment I saw you for the first time . Ade I like you and I have never liked someone like this before " said Kenneth with full of sincerity . Bigla napa ubo si Ade  pagkatapos sabihin ni Kenneth yung nararamdaman niya para sa kanya  and made her speechless . Agad naman siya binigyan ng tubig ni Kenneth . 

"Thank you , hindi ko lang inasahan na sabihin mo yun " sabi ni Ade 

"Alam mo naman siguro na matagal na kitang gusto di ba ? " asked Kenneth

Ade chuckle , " I don't know , ayoko kasi mag assume. I was thinking na baka caring ka lang and friendly sa lahat . ayoko ko masaktan  " 

"No I'm not.. " Kenneth replied as he chuckle  "So does this mean... you feel the same way ? " pangiting sabi ni Kenneth . Napatingin lang si Ade sa kanya for about a second thinking what to respond and after that she smiled as she slightly nodded . 

"Really ?! " he exclaimed in his happiness, he gently grabbed Ade's hand and gently kissed it  " You have no idea how happy I am right now. and I promise you I'll make you the happiest girl at babawi ako sa mga araw na nawala ako " he continued as he gently rubbed her hands. 

"I appreciate and admire you, pero Kenneth ... ano kasi these past weeks I have been so confused about my feelings," said Ade as she slowly took her hand and put her hands on her lap. 

'I know I liked Kenneth  and I have been waiting for this moment  na sabihin niya sa akin na gusto niya rin ako at parehas kaming nararamdaman . But why does it feels off? I should be happy that Kenneth is back and he is making effort  to make it up with me,  right now  I just don't know . '  sabi ni Ade sa kanyang isip 

"What do you mean ? " asked Kenneth 

"Bigyan mo mona ako ng time to think " Ade replied . 

Kenneth simply smile and nodded at her " Okay , walang problema . I can wait kahit gaano pa katagal hidni naman ako nagmamadali Ade . Basta nandito lang ako palagi para sa'yo " sabi ni Kenneth 

"Thank you, Kenneth " replied Ade as she smiled at him and so do Kenneth. 

Pagkalipas ng ilang oras nilang pag-uusap , biglang tumunog nag cellphone ni Ade at ng tiningnan niya her eyes suddenly widened and her heart beats fast when she saw Jihoon is calling her matagl tagal na din kasi niya hindi nakikita ang pangalan ni Jihoon mag appear sa screen niya . She rejected the call and put her phone back inside her purse ... but then after a second tumawag na naman ulit ito , at dahil nagtataka si Kenneth sa kanya di niya maiwasan magtaka sa at mapatanong , " Ade , what's wrong ? " he asked with a worried face . 

Ade simply shook her head and still rejected the call, after that she received a text message from Jihoon saying ...

"Ade, let's meet. I have something to tell you "

"Please, just reply to my message if you don't want to answer my call"

After she read his text messages she took a deep breath  mas lalo hindi siya mapakali si Ade kay Jihoon , she wondered kong anong gustong sabihin ni Jihoon that seems like its urgent when she already knew about his true identity , " Ano bang kailangan nito ?" she mumbled . And then tumunog na naman yung phone niya pangatlong beses na at dahil dito pinilit ni Kenneth si Ade na sagutin niya ang tawag , " Ade sagutin mo muna yan , pangatlong beses na yan . Baka emergency yan " he said in a calm voice , where in fact he seem distracted and bothered.

Ayaw sana sagutin ni Ade but Kenneth insisted her , kaya wala siyang choice but to pick up his call . Agad siya tumayo at dumistensya kunti sa table nila ... 

"Ano bang kailangan mo ? "  she asked in a whisperred voice , para hindi marinig ni Kenneth yung pag-uusap nila .

"Where are you right now?"  

"I'm with a friend Jihoon "

"Nasa Apartment mo ako , hihintayin kita dito " 

"Ano ?! anong ginagawa mo diyan ? at paano ka nakapasok ?!. Tresspassing yang ginagawa mo Jihoon " 

" I don't care , basta hihintayin kita dito " *call ended*

"Shit" Ade mubled as she put down her phone . Napahawak si Ade sa kanyang ulo at hindi alam kong paano niya sasabihin kay Kenneth na dapat na syang umuwi . She was thinking an excuse as she slowly walked back to their table , pag -upo niya agad napansin ni Kenneth that she seem anxious and uncomfortable after the call , he was worried so he asked , " Something's wrong ? " 

Ade took a sharp breath, " Kenneth, I have to go. "

"Already ? . Bakit ano bang nangyari ? Sino ba yung tumatawag sa'yo ?" Asked Kenneth . 

Napag-isipan ni Ade na sabihin kay Kenneth tungkol sa lalaking nakilala niya and the reason kong bakit siya naguguluhan sa mga nakaraang araw. 

She wanted to honest and open up to Kenneth about Jihoon  and she thought it might be a good idea para matulungan din siya mabalik yung nararamdaman niya kay Kenneth dahil si Kenneth naman talaga yung gusto niya and not Jihoon , but now Jihoon became the stopper of her own feelings and the reason kong bakit naguguluhan na siya sa kanyang nararamdaman . 

"I have to be honest with you ... " said Ade as she took a deep breath, " May nakilala akong isang lalaki and this guy is the reason kong bakit ako naguguluhan Kenneth. That time you left was the saddest moment of my life, hindi ko alam bakit but that's how I felt. I was emotionally not okay, I couldn't stop thinking of you every single day, I missed you so so much. Until Jihoon came and we became friends, I admit being with him was not easy because he is not just a man he is more than that ... but I was happy "  

Matapos mabanggit ni Ade yung pangalan ni Jihoon , this immediately caught Kenneth's attention. He immediately lean forward and rested his hands on the table  " Anong sinabi mo ? what was his name again? " he asked as he narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"It's Jihoon " Ade replied softly 

"Lee Jihoon? " Kenneth clarified 

Ade slowly nodded at nagtaka na bakit parang kilala ni  Kenneth si Jihoon , " Wait do you know him ? ... oh wait of course you know him ako lang naman siguro hindi nakakakilala sa SVT " patawang sabi ni Ade. 

Kenneth scoffed , habang dahan-dahan nawala yung ngiti sa kanyang mukha at napalitan ito ng simangot , he was nodding gently as he finally knows the truth .
