~• Part 55 •~

We were now having a meeting at the Yoon empire with all the board members. Surprisingly almost all of his cousins are here right now. Minha was also here. Well it turns out that Minha is working with Mingyu. Now wonder they fall in love.

I was trying to concentrate on the meeting but that one specifically eyes are still fixated on me. It makes me anxious and nervous. I steal a glance a little and saw his eyes didnt move and still stuck on me. It make me feels conscious about my movement that I didn't even move an inch.

Wonwoo must've noticed it since he suddenly move forward and sit so close to me like back-hugging while putting one of his arms on the table next to me. It's kind of shielding or hiding me. I look behind and saw his looking at the front. I then type "thanks" in my laptop and nudge him a little to make him notice. I guess he saw it when he softly patting my hand that makes me smile.

I can feel the intense gaze from the opposite side. I took a glance and saw his eyes full of rage but something caught my side eyes since I could feel another pair of eyes looking at me. Taking a little glance to the side, I saw Joshua who's next to him and had an amused expression on his face. I ignored both of them and quickly turn back to type down the minutes.

The meeting was done after two hours. I'm glad that there's nothing wrong with Wonwoo's company and that everything was fine for him. He looked relief himself. They all went to the dining hall to have some lunch. I excused myself from joining because of load of works that I have. They understand and let me off.

When one of the real reason was just to avoid "him" not just because of works. Grabbing my bag, I went to elevator. After a few seconds it opened and I press the ground button but when the gap became too small before the door close, someone's hand stopping it. I look up shock with the action only to find out it's "him".

He then went inside while I slowly took a step back in the elevator. I sense he's getting closer that made me took another step.

"what is that?" he asked. I didnt look up but I know he's looking at me.

"w-wh-what?" I asked back.

"Don't play dumb. I saw it." He said again making me confused.

"s-saw what?"

"You and Wonwoo."

Oh...he must be talking about earlier....Still without looking at him, I answered nothing and he scoffed.

"I'm not blind. I saw it. He's hugging you and even hold your hands but you just let him be? You know, after that incident, I don't trusted him at all." He said sound serious as ever. I was about to say something when he beat me.

"and why are you avoiding me?" he asked that make me taken aback.

"What? You think I didn't noticed it?" he scoffed again.

"So? Why? Why are you avoiding me?"

I don't want to answer nor know how to answer and why this elevator took so long to arrive at the ground? I tried to take a look and saw he already press the stop button. Great! Seeing I didnt answer, he asked again.

"Answer me. Why are you avoiding me?"

being with him alone is making everything hard and like he said, I do avoid him. To forget what had happened but he's making it hard. There's nothing that we could hear except for out heartbeat and breath. It's just deafening silence.

I slowly look up and saw he intensely looking at me. His dark brown eyes, his intimidating and tall figure standing only a few inches from me. It made me gulped hard and nervous all over again. He then slowly took a step closer and since I got nowhere to go and I can only lean on the wall.
