so uh.. this isn't gonna be a super contestshippy one shot???

if you remember a while back during the kanto grand festival, drew basically yelled at May and called her a wimp?

well, I didn't think there was a lot behind it, so I wanted to do a little bit of Drew angst based on those episodes. Just because I want to. LOL.

Drew found himself battling with May. It was in the grand festivals finale. If he were to win from May this round, he would be crowned as top co-ordinator. A goal that he chased ever since he was a younger kid who got away from trouble back at home with his family.

He clenched his fist. He couldn't lose now. Drew had just sent out his roselia, and May had sent out her combusken. Drew wanted to give roselia an order, but for some reason, he couldn't get any words out of his mouth. Before his roselia could do anything, May fired a flamethrower at Roselia.

(A/N; I don't exactly remember what moves May's combusken could do back when the kanto grand festival was taking place, so please forgive me if I mess up combuskens move set).

Roselia got smacked down into the stage brutally, as it let out a cry. Drew wanted to give an order, but he just couldn't. He could yell, but barely, no clear word could escape his mouth. As if his voice gave up. Fear found a way into his expression as he felt his legs trembling. May's combusken kept firing attacks.

He turned his head towards the score board, as Drew's points were all gone. He then glared back at Roselia, who was knocked out. He gasped, choking in fear, before glaring back up at the other side of the stage, at May. She was grinning mischievously, as she then broke out into laughter. Before he knew it, the whole crowd was laughing at his actions.

Mr contesta was laughing. Mr sukizo was laughing. The nurses joy were laughing. Lillian and Vivian were laughing. The whole crowd was laughing. And worst of all, May was laughing. He could feel all of the gazes of everyone around him burn into his skin. So this is what it felt like.. To be humiliated and laughed about. 'Look who's better now!'

He rose up in shock, his eyes widened, red and puffy. He pulled his arms over to his head, as he burried his fingers in his hair. It was just a dream. No, not just a dream. It as a nightmare. One heck of a nightmare.

He gritted his teeth as he felt tears streaming down to his cheeks. Then all those good performances of May flashed by his eyes. She was so good, she had gotten so much better. He... he wasn't scared, was he? No, he couldn't be scared. He was strong, and not fragile. He couldn't ever be scared; not of May.

He wasn't doubting that May would get into the kanto grand festivals finale. He knew that he was going to battle her. But what if he were to lose? Would she laugh at him like all those times he had laughed at her? At her mistakes? It was like he suddenly regret all those times that he had teased. It was as if karma had gotten out to get him.

He let out a sob as he scrunched up, and burried his head in his knees. May was going to beat him, he thought. And he had to do something about that.

'Absol, what are you doing?! You can do better, absol! Just give it more! You aren't being the way I want you be!' He snarled, his eyes full of anger. Oh, he was going mad. He was going crazy. But he couldn't help it, his profile meant so much to him. He couldn't lose it all.

Absol glared back up in surprise. 'Try it again, absol! And do it better this time! You don't want us to lose, do you?! Huh?!' He screamed his lungs out. He couldn't take it anymore. He was frustrated, so frustrated. 'If you end up messing all of this up you'll be the one to blame!' He added, tears forming in his eyes.

Before he knew it, May, Solidad, and may's loser friends had found me. May was lecturing me that the way I was treating my absol wasn't right. But she doesn't get it. She doesn't.

'Drew!'

Stop it.

'Hey, your absol tried its absolute hardest and looked really beautiful as well and all you can say is absol failed?...'

Stop it.

'Don't you think absol deserves a little more than that?'

MAY, STOP IT.

'Roselia, Masquerain and Flygon... They've always given me a lot more than what I just saw.'

and then I said the unthinkable.

'Simply trying your best isn't going to get praise from me. I'm not weak like you!'

May froze.
I turned away and walked off.

I sat there, in the sunset. I didn't know what or how to feel. I felt relieved, that I let my feelings out, but at the same time I'm still so angry, and I regret all that I said. Not weak like her, huh?

I guess that, right now, that I'm the biggest weakling among them.

oh boooohoooo drew bawl your eyes out.

i'm gonna be very honest that I got really angry when Drew was acting like such ... a bitch. But then again, I totally get where he was coming from.

I am happy that, the creators of pokemon had given us the chance to see Drew's weak side. Like that he isn't that cocky annoying little figure that he always was. Like, he was always right about everything, it got so boring.

aside from my rambling, I hope this wasn't too intense or stupid.

I think it makes sense.

LOL.

Also! I will be uploading newer parts to the beach house thing, this idea just suddenly popped up I thought it'd b cool to write bout this. Yah.
