it's been about a year since i've seen my ex girlfriend and one of my best friends. jo was a huge part of my life and we were best friends till freshman year. we were together for about 4 years almost 5 when we broke up. we only broke up because i thought she was flirting with my other best friends. matt and chris sturniolo. i was dead fucking wrong. she moved away a week after i broke up with her.. i haven't heard or seen her since. but anyway i'm currently starving and matt, chris and nick are all hanging out in my living room with me
me- y'all i'm starving!
nick- let's go out and eat! there's this new chinese restaurant i want to try!
me- ooo yes!
matt- chinese sounds amazing right now
chris- i could eat a whole cow let's go!
we all got out to the van and once we started driving nick got a call.
nick- hello? OH HEYY how are you??
me, chris and matt looked at each other and then nick. who the fuck was that kid talking to?
nick- it's been awhile! your back?!? that's great! oh we are actually with nate right now.. i know im sorry but if you don't mind you could meet us at the new chinese restaurant! oh great alright! ok bye love you!
once nick hangs up the phone i turn back to him and he has the biggest smile ever.
me- what are you smiling at kid?
nick- an old friend is in town
me- who?
nick- nobody
me- wait..
nick- no nate. don't stress and i'm sure she forgives you if it was her
me- idk.. i was a complete asshole to her
matt- you were
chris- cant deny that one
me- woah thanks guys!
matt- what! she got hotter you know?
me- she did? she blocked me on everything except snap and instagram. i'm to scared to check her instagram and story tho
chris- let me look!
once chris pulls up her instagram we get to the restaurant
chris- maybe i'll show you after
me- bet
we walk in and nick goes up and asks for someone. i'm talking to chris and matt with my back towards nick. then i hear the voice i haven't heard in a year. the voice i made break and the voice i fell in love with. jo.
jo- hey!
i couldnt bring myself to turn around but i saw in matt and chris' eyes that jo did really change and she in fact got hotter by their reactions
nick- JO! i've missed you! how was rome?
that's where she went. rome? the place we planned on going together when we were in 6th grade? woah..
jo- im good! rome was amazing but i needed to come for a little bit then i plan on going back! i have someone waiting for me!
nick- ooo who is waiting for the amazing and totally hot jo miller?
jo- my husband.
