It's been a hectic day for me, not for both Black and me. It started great but got weird when we visited that fortune teller. What that woman said to me stuck in my head like glue to paper. I don't know why I'm still thinking about it because I know it's insane. Is it true that I am a princess or goddess? No, that must be a lie. I don't sense any trait of power in me that can make me a goddess nor do l feel like a princess.

What confuses me the most is how much that lady said bothers me. No matter how much I want to blame her claiming she is crazy or delusional, I can't help but feel like what she said is true. As they say, there is always a truth in every lie. All my life, I have always felt this void inside me, like something is missing or being suppressed, could that be it? Oh gosh, what am I thinking, of course, this is bullshit the only thing I miss is the parents I never had.

Speaking of chaos, Black has been a mess since we found that body coming from that deranged fortune teller. Sometimes I wonder how he manages to survive. Seriously I have seen two dead bodies but I'm keeping it together, he has been puking his guts out since we arrived. His skin is getting paler.

I'm getting a little worried that he can damage himself with too much vomiting, just a little. I'm so exhausted from overthinking, I need a good power nap. I stroll down the hallway dreading what's waiting for me in the bathroom. Cold water. We haven't paid the bill for the geyser yet. The moment I open the bathroom door, a very disgusting odor invades my nose. Black's little activity has left this place reeking, but I have no choice. I can't fall asleep feeling all dirty and sticky. I just have to be strong,

''Oh gosh, it smells really bad in here" I whisper to myself covering my nose with my towel.

Sleep doesn't take long to claim me after I finish bathing.

The cracking sound of wood startles me. I take a minute to notice my surroundings only to find that I am in a lush forest. I twirl taking in the view and to say it is breathtaking is an understatement. Luminous rays of the sunshine through the gaps of the leaves, chipping of birds and squeaking of small animals bring liveliness to the forest. Taking a deep breath, I sigh as a cool breeze blows through me. I do not want to leave this place. There is something magical about this place, it is also familiar, but this is my first time being.

''Ahh,'' my head snaps up to where the sound came from. To my astonishment, there is a little girl in the tree hanging on a broken branch trying to get down. She is wearing a white dress, her silver-white long hair is everywhere hindering me from seeing her face. She looks troubled trying hard to swing herself to the nearest branch of the tree.

''Hey, you are going to hurt yourself. Let me help?'' I shout but she does not answer, ''hey!'' I shout a little bit louder still nothing. I keep looking as she swerves herself hard until she can hook one of her legs to the other branch. It looks scary from down here; she hooks another leg before letting go of the other limb making herself hang upside down. Groaning, she tries to hoist herself up but fails miserably. She veers herself harder winching into a sitting position. She sighs in relief. Slowly her leg reaches for the lower bough followed by the other. Carefully she stands on both feet, peeps to the ground, and then looks up at the sky as if she is sending a short prayer. She looks down again that is when I realize what she is planning to do. Biting her lower lip in determination springs herself up leaping. It is a great height, my hand flies to my mouth expecting her to fall but fortunately, she lends on her feet. She glances up again smiling before she combs her hair with her fingers in an attempt to look presentable.

She doesn't even acknowledge me, almost as if she can't see me. Three boys, a little older than her arrives as she is getting ready to leave. They make a line blocking her way of passage. Her shoulders sag in boredom.
