It's been a couple days since I hurt my ankle, it's a holiday so I decided to take the day off and go to the coffee shop.
It's early, only 6:32AM. The sun is barley rising yet.
I have on a white short sleeve radio head tee on with my chive cargos, and black converse.
I have my hair half up half down, I curled the ends and put my front pieces up in a claw clip.
I'm sitting down in an empty coffee shop, I have my iced coffee next to me and my notebook with my pens and pencils.
I finished my other drawing, I started a knee one. It's a women, she's standing to the side. She had on a black dress with black long heels.
She's holding a gun, and pointing it towards someone. But they're out of the picture.
Someone sat in front of me, I took out my earbuds and saw the handsome devil, Atticus.
"Well hello." He smiled.
"Hello, Atticus." I smiled putting away my notebook. "Did you follow me here?" I asked. "Nope, I was just coming by to grab a coffee. I got no sleep." He yawned.
"I can tell, you have eye bags." I giggled. I sat back in my chair. "You know, there's a chance you wouldn't have seen me here today."
"Why's that?" He tilted his head. "Because, I don't drink coffee that much. I prefer tea." I gave him a cocky smile.
"Ew." He mumbled. "What! Tea is so much better." I scoffed at him. "Yuck, no way." He scoffed back, teasingly.
I rolled my eyes, "how's your painting going?" I asked. "It's going good actually. I'm almost done." He smiled.
He noticed my notebook on the table. He snatched it from me and looked through it. The drawings went from little drawings.
Little drawings as in hearts, and stars, to doodles. Like eyes, candles, skulls, to deeper drawings.
He gave the book back to me. "You're very talented, Iris." He smiled. "Aw, thanks." I smiled.
I put my notebook into my tote bag, I looked back at him and his eyes were all over me.
I swear there was hearts in his eyes, or maybe even my own. He looked deep at me, he looked at my eyes, he looked at my lips, he looked all over me.
"You know you're very pretty." He leaned back into his chair. I tilted my head at him, "thank you." I smiled big.
"You know, I should come over some time." He smiled. I chuckled seductively, "Are you inviting yourself...to my house?" I asked him. "Yep, exactly what I'm doing."
"You're funny. But I like you, more then I like most people. So I'll accept it." I told him. "Great, I'll see you...tomorrow?" He asked.
"Of course, I'll text you my address." I told him.
"Alright, see you tomorrow." He smiled then got up. I grabbed my bag then got up, about to pay for my coffee until the waitress stopped me.
"He already paid for your coffee hon." The lady said, pointing to Atticus.
I looked over at him, he had a smile on his face and was looking over his shoulder at me. He winked gently and walked out the door.
I hid my red face then smiled at the waitress. "Have a good day ma'am."
