"Caine, stop it!" I giggled playfully. "If one of the maids see us they will tell your father." I breathed heavy as Caine grazed my neck.
"We are getting married in two weeks. I don't care if the maids, my father, or Carson see us," He uttered into my ear.
Caine pulled me closer to him while trying to undo my corset. I tossed his hands away.
"Your father...will be furious...if he finds out," I purred between kisses. "Not to mention...what my parents...will say about...not following tradition."
In a swift movement, Caine threw the corset and the lace dress across the candle lit room. He continued to ravenously kiss my neck. I glanced toward the closet, which was beside the dresser. The closet door was partially open; he was watching us.
"Just a little while, Kathryn. Like I said, I don't care what they think or say. They can all go to hell." He began to undress himself, but I ceased him.
"Not right now, Caine. Stephan and the others must be wondering where their majesty is. You all had planned to go hunting this afternoon, remember?" I arranged his clothing in place in a matter of seconds.
"As always, you are right. I hear them downstairs. But, my lady, I will be back at midnight. Be ready." He kissed my hand. "I love you, Kathryn," Caine whispered before giving me one last gentle kiss.
"I love you too, Caine. I will be waiting for you tonight." With that, he vanished through the door.
"I thought my dear brother would never leave," Sneered Carson. I turned to face him. He was already laying on the bed.
"I thought so myself. Apparently they are going hunting, but I know Stephan well enough to know that isn't the case." Locking the doors, I put a shield around my chamber to make sure nothing was audible from the outside.
"Yes. I do believe Stephan tends to go on "hunting trips" with Caine and the others." He patted the spot next to him on the bed.
"I have missed you, Carson. I've been so lonely without you." I walked to him and sat down beside him. "Your arrival was of utmost importance to me."
Carson turned to me, pulling me to his muscular chest.
"I can't stand Caine being with you all day and night," He stated.
"Caine will never find out about us, right?" I questioned softly. "I can't imagine what he would do if he ever found out."
"He will never find out. It's our secret...our secret for all eternity," He confirmed as he leaned forward to kiss me with blazing passion.
I woke up startled. Scanning around feverishly, I noticed I was only in my bedroom, not witnessing the couple's affair. Or more like living the affair. Realization dawned on me that this dream was a new dream, and that, somehow, I seemed to be the young girl named Kathryn. I had no idea who that guy Caine was, but what mostly freaked me out was the possibility that the Carson from this dream was most likely the same Carson from my previous dreams. I had no idea who any of these people were nor why they were in my dreams, but this dream, like the others, seemed frighteningly real.
I took my phone to look at the time. It was 6 a.m. I didn't want to go back to sleep, so I gathered my clothes, turned on my stereo, and headed to the bathroom. I was in need of a long shower to clear my mind of these dreams.
"WOULD YOU PLEASE NOT TEAR THE DOOR DOWN WITH YOUR KNOCKING!" I shouted, descending the flight of stairs.
I had a splitting headache, therefore I was not in a jolly mood. Whoever was at the door was making my morning worse with their frantic knocking. I opened the door to see Rick, who was smiling brightly.
