Y/N POV:
Hearing muffled yelling coming from the kitchen, I slowly wake up. Finn waking up, as well.

There was yelling going on. Gwen's yells.

Looking at each other, the realization hits.

Getting up, we both immediately run to the kitchen.

Making it to the kitchen, my eyes widen.

Gwen was leaning on the counter, crying! While dad was smacking her with a belt, angry.

"I'M SORRY!!" Gwen yell's, wincing in pain.

"DAD! STOP!" Finn yell's,

"HEY! YOU! STAY OUT OF THIS!" Dad yells, looking at Finn.

"Gwenny....the police came to my work. WHY DID THE POLICE COME TO MY WORK?!" Dad says, smacking Gwen again.

"I DON'T KNOW! I'M SORRY!!" Gwen cries, hissing in pain.

"YOU NEED TO TELL ME ON WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS INVESTIGATION!"

"NOTHING!!"

"Huh...?!"

"NOTHING....!"

"HUH?!"

"NOTHING!!" "WHAT?!"

"I SAID NOTHING!!" Gwen yell's, getting ahold of dad's bottle.

I take a step forward, continuing to watch the scene.

"Touch me again....AND I'M DROPPING IT!" Gwen threatens, holding up the bottle.

"You drop that bottle, and I'll beat you as twice as hard...." Dad says, raising up his belt.

Breathing heavily, Gwen look's at me. Waiting for my approval.

Shaking my head, I say

"No, Gwen. Don't, okay? Just put it down." I say, in a whisper.

Gwen shakes her head slightly, taking a glance at dad before dropping it.

Causing glass to shatter, everywhere.

Dad starts to panic,

Grabbing Gwen, dad shoves her to the ground. Spanking her, repeatedly.

"DAD! NO!!" Finn cries, shaking his head.

"Y/N, please! Do something....!" Finn pleads, looking at me.

Looking at Finn, I start contemplating whether to step in or not.

I stepped in.

I did my part. My part as a sister. To step in, and protect my siblings.

Staring at the scene, I wait for the right moment to step up.
