Waiting for your group's turn to come on Inkigayo interview corner, you see the host who have given you a cold shoulder during the rehearsals just yesterday. You've heard of her crushing over Jungkook during her interviews with her group and you know her fans ships her with Jungkook, sometimes getting into fights with your fans who claimed that you and Jungkook are dating or have a higher chance of dating because you both are in the same group. They were not wrong, however, the public doesn't know that you both are in a relationship with one another.

You remember the incident yesterday too. When the hosts visited our green room, Jungkook and I were cuddled up on the sofa while we were waiting for the prerecording as we had schedules before this and it was already night. You figured, that was probably why she was giving you a cold shoulder. 

Today, there were rumours about you and Jaehyun, from NCT, because a staff spotted you both talking yesterday at Inkigayo prerecording as they were also having their comeback at the same time. The staff didn't take any pictures but posted publicly on her account about how shocked she was to see you both talking as she didn't know that you two were friends. His fans got upset about the dating rumours that PEOPLE have created and it became a whole fight on twitter between both fandoms.

"Alright guys, up next" one of the staff said as they led you guys closer to the mini corner.

You watched the monitor as they screened the other group performing on stage.

"Alright up now"

You and the boys went up on the platform and waited until it goes live.

"Bangtan Sonyeondan!" Jia, one of the host, cheered.

"2!3! Bang!Tan! Annyeonghaseyo Bangtan Sonyeondan imnida" we greeted.

"Waaaah! The most anticipated group after a long time! What can we anticipate for today?" Jungwoo asked.

"We will be putting on our best version of ourselves on stage today! Please do look forward to the stage today" Jin say.

"Wow! I noticed the direction of music you guys are putting out is slowly shifting! What was the inspiration behind it?" Jia asked.

"We explored different sounds in this album during the process of making it. We realised that some of the sounds we explored that we have never done, sounded more like us, hence we decided to try something different in hopes that others would also like it the same" Namjoon reply.

"Wahh... people definitely love it as it has been number one on Billboard Chart for 2 weeks now!" Jungwoo cheered.

"Let's hear from the rose among the thorns... how is it like this comeback... working with 7 boys?" Jungwoo asked.

"It's great, it's the same as all the other years. We still get playful during recordings and all that but we can get serious when we need to.. I'm used to having these boys around me so it's nothing different" you say.

"Of course you're used to boys around you. Maybe you'll not only bring home an award today but also perhaps a man here?" Jia joked, which was definitely and totally not on the script because Jungwoo was surprised too.

Your surprised and offended face was obvious, so was the boys reactions. You just looked at your manager who was standing behind the cameras, also confused with the sudden change in script.

"Alright! Our next performer is a rookie group - " Jungwoo changed the topic quick while you turn to look at Jungkook, who was already looking at you.

He nodded at you, reassuring you that is all fine, reading his eyes that he was just as pissed and confused as you. Your mind kinda blanked out after that because you know the fans would bring this whole thing up and it would cause another chaos online.

Once you realised the boys were just moving off from the platform, you went ahead and followed them. You noticed how most of them only bowed to Jungwoo and didn't even glance over at Jia. You too, went off straight without glancing at her.

"Yah, what was that about?" Jin say as soon as we all entered our safe space, our green room.

"Was that in the script? Was she even allowed to do that?" Jungkook asked.

"No, it was not on the script. The director was also just as surprised so she did that on her own, willingly. I will be contacting their company" Jungwon, our manager, said.

You just shook your head in annoyance then went to the sofa to sit. As soon as you went on twitter, you already see what was trending. You were right, it had caused another chaos. What's more annoying was that Jungkook probably feels weird about people talking about his girlfriend and his friend.

Jungkook noticed your distressed face. He came over to you before pulling you into a comforting hug.

"It's alright." he said in an ever so calming voice.

You let your head drop on his shoulder, tired from the whole situation.

"When will it stop?"

"It doesn't. But I'm with you through it all"
