Zaylia was having a blast. While the teams were getting ready to play the court, all the girls had dresses in their cheerleading outfits that they made with old newspapers. Considering the item they used for the outfits, they ended up being really nice. They even made pom poms. Zaylia was wearing a newspaper cheer skirt that just reached past her butt, and a top that had a squat neckline and flared eyes get her shoulders. She had made it at the lake house with the other women.
"Let's go cheer on our men" Deanne smirks as they all gather round. Roxanne sent a small wink to the young blonde and she laughed before they all jogged out to the court with their outfits and Pom poms while cheering.
When Dylan saw movement in the corner of his eyes he turned his head and had to do a double take when he spotted Zaylia. She looked unbelievable. Her long blonde hair was in a braided ponytail but it still managed to reach past her shoulder blades. The skirt was short, too short for his liking and so was the top which fabulously accented her chest. Not that he didn't enjoy the look of her legs, but the way he instantly noticed other boys in the crowd staring at her like she was a piece of meat, made his jaw clench. She was his. Standing up, he marched his way over to her and she beamed at him when she noticed him approaching.
"How do I look—?" He cut her off by placing his lips on hers and spinning her around quickly making her squeak in slight shock before kissing him back and laughing against his lips. He pulled away from her and set her feet back on the ground. He glanced over at a group of guys and smirked at them.
"Wow, I'll take that as an "I look good"" She licks her lip with a chuckle. Dylan grinned at her before placing a more delicate kiss to her forehead.
"Damn right"
"Come on, Feder" she rolled her eyes playfully before dragging him to their front spot on the bleachers where the others were. All the dads made their way to the court and Zaylia and the moms cheered loudly for them. Zaylia found her dad on the court and they did their handshake before she smacked his back.
"Give 'em hell, Higgins" She nods sternly and he smiles.
"You know it, flower" he ruffled her hair before jogging to his friends. Zaylia was slightly amused. She couldn't exactly remember the last time her dad did cardio, and judging by the looks of the others and Bailey's team, they hadn't either.
"This should be an interesting game" She says as she sets her Pom poms on her laps. Dylan swings his arm around her and hums in response.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the other black guy who grew up here"
Zaylia and Dylan raised their eyes at the trash talk between Kurt and Malcom.
"No, no, no. In this town, I'm the black guy and you're the other black guy" Kurt scoffs as they circle one another.
"No, man, in this town I'm the black guy. When white people see me coming in their stores, they get scared"
"Yeah? When white people see me coming into their store, they run, okay?" Kurt says.
"Wow"
"Yeah, yeah, these my white people. Go get your own"
"You, crazy man"
The two teens laughed quietly in amusement on the side and the players all got into position before the first half began. Zaylia and the rest of the girls cheered as the ball was received on their teams end.
"Come on, dad!" Dylan clapped.
"Wooh!" Zaylia cheered from beside him.
The whistle blew again and Marcus passed the ball to Eric who then passed to Lenny who made the shot. The girls jumped out of their seats and cheered louder as did the rest of the bleachers.
