Izuku tried his best to hide how upset he was over not leaving today when he left his social worker. If only Jared hadn't stepped over that line. The longer Izuku thought about it wave upon wave of mixed emotions hit him. He saw Jared like what he imagined a big brother might be. It made him both sad and angry that yet again someone he thought could possibly care just used him. Then again Izuku wasn't sure what Jared got out of what he did. Izuku's body had betrayed him by reacting to it. He was the only one to as Jared put it "feel good".

Izuku felt his stomach turn at that fact and ran for the bathroom. He barely made it inside and had to use the sink instead of the toilet. The lunch he just ate greeting him not even having had a chance to begin digesting.

Izuku caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Still feeling the mix of sadness and anger the sight of himself drove him over the edge. He was looking at the body that betrayed him. The body who enjoyed what had happened. He started punching the mirror and it cracked. Pieces of it falling to the floor.

Izuku started to feel better seeing the twisted reflection in all the cracks. It suited him better he thought. Izuku heard a distant giggle echo. He jumped readying himself for an attack while the giggling only got closer making the hair on his neck stand up.

Awww... are you angry? hehe

"Who's there?!"

Nobody special. hehe

"Where are you?!"

Silence....

"Hello? are you still there?"

BOO!

Right next to his ear Izuku heard it more clearly than ever making him stumble and trip falling down. Making the laughing only louder.

"STOP LAUGHING ALREADY!!!"

you're no fun... hehe

want to go get Jared? You could have fun like yesterday again... hehe

"Yesterday wasn't fun you sicko!"

Oh boy if I'm a sicko what are you buddy? hehe

Don't you remember how good you felt?

Huh?

You practically clung to him as he had his way with you. hehe

"Just shut up my body did that on it's own!"

LAIR!

nobody would believe that.

I know you liked him since the first day you saw those muscles.

hehe

"SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!" "SHUT UP!"

Izuku had his knees to his chest, head resting on them holding his head and rocking he tried to keep telling the voice to shut up. The laughing and taunting only got louder and louder. He spotted a glint from a mirror shard on the floor making him grin wickedly.

"I'LL MAKE YOU SHUT UP THEN!!!" This threat did nothing to quiet the voice so Izuku took the shard and stabbed his ear hoping to destroy his eardrum. He heard a dull ring on the side where he stabbed and repeated the act on the other side.

Spoilsport...

All the yelling and noise coming from the bathroom had attracted attention with a crowd forming outside the door. A counselor came to see what all the ruckus was about. "What are you morons doing? Holding teatime outside the bathroom?! MOVE! Get back to where you're supposed to be! What's this racket about?!"

The bathroom door swung open and the sight shocked the counselor and those too curious to disperse alike. There sat Izuku curled up again in his defensive ball mirror shard in hand blood running down his ears sobbing and laughing.

"Told you I'd make you shut up. Haha"

The counselor stepped over the mirror shards careful not to break them more he slowly approached Izuku. "Midoriya-kun?" No response from the boy. Did he make himself deaf the counselor wondered. He dared to touch his shoulder to make him look up. Now gently shaking his shoulder he asked again. "Midoriya-kun? What happened? Are you ok?"

Izuku's ears were already starting to heal but it took time, long enough for the voice to go away. He felt himself being shook and heard a muffled voice. He lifted his head and saw one of the counselors talking to him.

Feeling calmer since the voice that taunted him was gone he made vague gestures to the counselor about how he cant hear right now. The man looked confused at these so Izuku wiped his tears and turned his head to show his ears. Deciding to speak not caring if it was loud or soft. "Can't hear very well right now, quirk is working but it'll be a while. First time my ears have been damaged. Takes longer the first time"

This served to only cause more question for the counselor but he relented to wait before prying further. He gave a thumbs up to Izuku as a sign that he understood. He stood up and held his hand to help Izuku up but it was slapped away as he chose to stand up on his own. He was used to the older kids refusing help but this boy was still young and wasn't here for hardened crimes as far as he knew.

Mirror shards on the floor shattered further when Izuku suddenly stopped and stepped on a few. "NO NOT YOU! LEAVE ME ALONE! PLEASE!" Izuku sank to the floor and returned to his curled up position crying renewed. In the doorway stood Jared.

The other counselor didn't understand why Izuku reacted like that to what everyone on staff considered to be the boys favourite counselor. Just this morning there was usual teasing among the staff. About how someday they might all have the same magic connection Jared has with the boys. Why did this one seem absolutely terrified of the man? Before he could ponder that further an announcement came over the speakers.

"What is in the water today?!" The counselor asked loudly.

"No idea Sebby, how about you go check it out. I got this one" Jared offered.
