Keep the Promise

Two days ago, rookie pirate Monkey D. Luffy had died at the hands of Admiral of the Navy Sakazuki Akainu. The news delayed for some time, but it finally got to the farthest of places. People were shocked, they were expecting to read about Portgas D. Ace passing but it was his brother instead. Luffy was pretty famous around the world, so the news was especially shocking.

"Wh...what is this?" Weatheria, island where Nami was sent by Kuma. After 2 days she got to know what was going on around the world. She wasn't expecting to hear that her captain was dead. She was in a state of pure shock. Shaking intensively while holding the paper, she covered her mouth with a hand.

"Luffy!" She exclaimed. "How...I do not believe this! This must be fake...Luffy can't be dead..." she was trembling, tears started to form in her eyes. Nami was remembering all of the memories, and the moment she was freed by Luffy from Arlong.

"That...that dumbass!" She closed her eyes and let go of the paper now crying too much for her to read. In the news was a picture marines took moments after Akainu pierced Luffy's chest. 

'Maybe this is just a trick marines did' she thought, but still trying to find the reason why they would. She just found out what was happening when the crew was separated. She wasn't there where Luffy needed her the most, now she can't even say sorry to him, she won't be able to navigate for her captain, she won't be able to hit him on the head when he would be stupid or irracional. Nami now won't be able to hear his voice and oh that sweet little laugh. Everything just fell apart.

THE reason she was free was Luffy, the reason she was sailing was not just for her dream, but also for her friends and Luffy. Now when their captain is gone, she won't be able to face her dreams any more. She felt guilty for not being able to fight, for being in the weakest trio, she always wanted to use others but when she gained new friends she started to change, how was she supposed to change now? What will happen to their crew now? Will they disband? No! She doesn't want to, they are her only family. She was crying and trying to find a solution, but she couldn't, nothing worked. Money or maps can't help in this situation. She is helpless.
