Chapter 26

"sam?" i turned my head to see a surprised and broken selena.

"selena." i whispered.

she collapsed to the ground, "y-you're alive?"

"oh enough with the sadness." terry said and headbutted momwho grunted and fell backwards.

terry took mom's gun and picked up hers.

she held one up to me and one up to my mom.

"nobody moves. or i shoot sam."

mom held her head in pain. "terry. please. let her go."

"shut up taylor. stand up wifey." she said and pointed the gun at selena who was in tears right now.

i closed my eyes because i hate seeing my wife in such pain.

"sam." selena said and went to run to me.

terry shot right infront of her feet and i screamed, "NO!"

selena jumped back.

"terry. let them go. you want to get back at taylor? just kill me."

"SAM NO!" mom and selena screamed.

terry turned to me and smirked, "we talked about this sam. just shut up."

"fuck you terry! you'll never get away with this!" i screamed and tried to break free.

terry hit me in the head with the back of the gun, knocking my head back, making my vision hazy.

i saw spots.

"SAM!" selena screamed.

i blinked a few times and tried staying awake.

"sam stay awake baby girl." mom begged.

"i'll tell you what taylor. you give yourself to me and i will let sam go. forever." terry said.

"mom....n-no. don't d-do it. please." i stuttered.

i looked up and mom looked at me, "fine. i'll do it. just let her go." she said.

i weakly wriggled, "no. momm." i mumbled.

"i love you sammy." she said.

"great! it's a deal." terry said and walked over to me.

she shot the lock on the chains and the chains fell to the ground.

"there we go. stand up sammy." she said and smirked.

i stood up slowly but instantly collapsed to the ground for i haven't stood in over a month or two.

"sam!" selena ran to me and sat me up.

when i fell my head shook.

i felt dizzy and weak and...helpless.

"i love you sammy." mom said.

i looked up at her and she had tears in her eyes.

i shook my head, "pl-plea-ase." i whispered.

terry smirked and lifted the gun to mom's head.

i used my foot and tripped terry who fell to the ground.

she grunted and stood up.

"you little bitch." she said and kicked my head.

i fell backwards and my eyes instantly went black.

taylor pov

"sam!" i screamed.

this whole thing is terrifying, confusing and messed up.

selena screamed and tried to get sam awake.

terry laughed and looked at me.

my face boiled, "you sick bastard. you are killing your daughter and you hate me just because she chose me over you? are you serious? do you know how pathetic that sounds?"

terry stopped smiling and she frowned.

"fuck you taylor. sam has always belonged to me."

"she's not a property terry! she's a human! a blessing! and you took her for granted and left her for drugs. what kind of mother are you?" i said.

her eye twitched, "i love her."

"so you are killing her? yeah. true love everyone!" i said sarcastically.

"STOP IT!" she screamed and held the gun up to me.

i walked closer to her, "do it. kill me. it won't change the fact that you're a terrible mother." i spat.

she shoved me away and i took one of the guns.

i shot and i closed my eyes.

i opened them and i looked at terry who looked up in shock and looked down at her stomach.

she put her hand on her gunshot wound.

she collapsed to the ground.

"stay away from my family bitch." i said and threw my gun down.

i ran over to sam.

i pulled out my phone and called 911.

i told them where we were and to hurry.

selena was holding sam and brushing her hair gently with her fingers, "you'll be okay baby. i love you so much. i just got you back. please i can't lose you again." she whispered and kissed her forehead.

i smiled and grabbed sam's hand, "help is coming baby girl. stay with us okay? you're safe now. you're here. you're safe." i said and smiled.

i mostly said that to myself.

she's here.

she is safe now.

as they waited for an ambulance terry slowly grabbed the gun on the ground and pointed it over at the 3 girls.

her vision was blurry and blackening.

she pulled the trigger.

*BANG!*

she closed her eyes and dropped the gun.
