The Knife of Never Letting Go

A book set in a town where  "Everyone can hear everyone else's thoughts in an overwhelming, never-ending stream of Noise.". Best thing about this book is that it's packed full of metaphors about growing up, and they're all so beautifully entwined in Todd's story that it just leaves you feeling like you've learned something important about adulthood in the process of reading this book.

The Book Thief

One of those books whose style will leave an imprint on you forever. If you're looking for a book that encompasses all forms of uniqueness then this is it. It will make you experience all shades of the spectrum of human emotions, all while informing you about the harsh realities of war.  

Wreck This Journal

If you've ever felt like you want to record the experience of your teenage years in a journal but felt like the process of writing diary entries is too arduous then this journal is exactly what you need.  It asks you to do silly things like "smear your dinner on the page" and "collect dead bugs here" but it also prompts you to do therapeutic things like writing an internal monologues and positive thoughts. This journal will also make sure that no day ever goes adventure-free.  

Gone Girl(for 10th graders and above)

A book that will blow your mind over and over and over again. It will grab your attention from the very first sentence and make sure it never loses it throughout the book. You know how every once in a while there'd come this book that will leave you incapable of not thinking about it even when you're carrying on with your normal life? This is This Book. The characters are so easy to love in the beginning, and are relatable, then things to start to change. The plot twists in this book will mess you up, and the ending will leave you in an extreme need for an immediate re-read.

50 Second Psychology

For those who are intrigued by the subject of psychology, but can't be bothered to read through volumes of books and multiple articles on the internet to fully understand it. This book gives you a briefing about some of the most interesting psychological theories (that you can read in 50 seconds), and also comes with the added bonus of really pretty vintage pictures that are somehow related to each theory.
