"They're on the move!" A stormtrooper calls, chasing Cordelia, Greef, Cara, and Mythrol around the corner. They duck behind cover and take the stormtroopers out quickly.

"Let's go!" Greef calls. They continue running through the halls, shooting stormtroopers they encounter along the way. They reach the doors they entered through and Mythrol moves to open the door. The group quickly runs through the doors but stop as stormtroopers arrive from the elevator.

"There they are! Blast 'em!" One of the stormtroopers yell. Cordelia and her friends quickly duck behind cover, shooting at the enemy.

"We're trapped!" Mythrol says as one of the stormtroopers finally leaves the shelter of the elevator.

"Is that so?" Cara asks as Cordelia takes him out. She moves around the group towards the covered marauder. "Cover me!"

"What does she think she's doing?" He asks.

"Just keep shooting, she's got this!" Cordelia says. Cara manages to start the speeder and drives it to the others.

"What are you guys waiting for, an invitation? Let's move!" Cara yells through the door. Greef nudges Cordelia to go first, then Mythrol, before joining them inside. He takes the seat next to Cara and Cordelia grips the back of his seat to keep her balance.

Cara drives towards the doors, but they start to lower, closing before they can reach them. She stops, turns around, and aims the front at the stormtroopers.

"You're not seriously considering going over-" Mythrol says.

"Hang on!" She calls, driving the ship towards the edge. The group yells as the speeder flies off the edge, slamming into the ground and flattening Mythrol's speeder.

"Wait. Was that my speeder-" He says, ending with a yelp as he flies backwards after Cara speeds up. Cordelia tightens her grip on the back of Greef's seat as Cara continues on. Myhtrol rejoins them a few moments later.

"Man the guns." Cara says as stormtroopers chase them on speeder bikes.

"Copy that." Greef says, giving Cordelia his seat as he moves to the back. "One down." He says after shooting one.

"Great job!" Cordelia calls, shifting her attention back to help Cara.

"I've lost him!" He says a few moments later.

Cordelia turns, spotting him to the side of them, blaster drawn. They duck as he begins firing at them. Cara grunts then steers the speeder towards him, smashing him against the rocks. She cheers and Cordelia turns to check on Greef. He fires at the last stormtrooper and laughs.

"Yes! We did it!" Mythrol says as the Imperial base explodes. Cordelia laughs, patting his arm.

"Headed home, boss." Cara says. The group relaxes for a moment before they hear the sound of TIEs behind them.

"That may have been premature." He says.

"Take evasive! I got this!" Greef calls.

"Take 'em out, Greef!" Cordelia says. He begins firing at the TIEs and after a few moments they begin firing too.

"What is going on back there?" Cara asks as she looks back at him, the speeder lurching around as she drives.

"You wanna come back here and try this? Be my guest!" He replies.

"Guys! Focus on shooting and driving. We've got this!" Cordelia yells.

"Can't you get this thing to go any faster?" Greef asks. Cara grunts, speeding up and turning the corner. Greef locks onto the nearest TIE and fires, taking it down. It lands on the top of the speeder, taking out the cannon and knocking him out of the chair.

"Greef!" Cordelia calls, giving her spot to Mythrol to help her friend up.

"We're almost there!" Mythrol yells as Cordelia and Greef join them in the front. They exit the canyon, but the TIEs stay on their tail.

Cara continues to take evasive maneuvers as they ships continue shooting. They stop and fly ahead before the one in the middle is shot and explodes. They look up and spot the Crest.

"Yes! Yes!" Greef cheers as Cordelia laughs. Cara steers the speeder towards town and stops out front. The doors open and they exit the speeder, Greef using binocs to watch Din fly the Crest after the TIEs.

Din takes out the last TIE and the group on the ground cheers. Cordelia throws her arms around Greef, laughing. He hugs her back and laughs before pulling out his comm.

"That was some pretty impressive flying, Mando. What do I owe ya?" Greef says.

"With the repairs, let's call it even." He replies. Greef chuckles.

"Can I at least buy you a drink?" He asks.

"Sorry. I have some onboard maintenance I gotta take care of. Then we gotta hit the road before Gideon catches wise. I would like my wife back, though." Din says. Cordelia laughs, watching as the ship turns and heads their way.

"Well, good luck flying, my friend." He says. Din lands, lowering the ramp. Cordelia quickly hugs each friend goodbye before rushing up the ramp and into the cockpit. She takes the Child and takes her seat as Din continues flying. She gasps when she spots the blue vomit on his clothes.

"What the hell happened?" She asks, glaring at Din.

"He was eating while we were flying and the turns must've been too much." He says. She rolls her eyes.

"I'm gonna go get him cleaned up." She says. He nods and she heads down the ladder.

Cordelia cleans the Child, then his clothes. He coos sleepily at her once he's all washed and she chuckles, taking him to his bed. She tucks him in and kisses his forehead before leaving him to sleep. She heads back up to the cockpit.

Din turns the ship onto autopilot and spins his chair to face her. She moves to sit in his lap, curling up against him and resting her head on his chest. He wraps his arms around her, spinning the chair back around so they face the stars flying by.

"I don't want him to go." Cordelia whispers. Din looks down at her.

"You don't want who to go?" He asks.

"The Child. I don't want to lose him." She answers, looking up at him. Din sits up straighter, reaching up to remove his helmet when he sees the tears falling down her face.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay." He says, shifting her so she straddles his lap, reaching up to cup her face. "We'll bring him to someone who can help him. Someone who will take care of him. We'll visit." He reassures. She shakes her head.

"What if we can't?" She asks. Din keeps one hand cupping her face, the other moving to pull her closer.

"I'm sure we'll be able to. If we can't, we'll be okay. We'll have each other and all our memories of the Kid. He'll train and grow stronger and then he'll be the one protecting others." He says. He smiles. "Once he's trained, he'll visit us."

"You think so?" Cordelia asks, her tears stopping. Din nods, wiping away the rest of her tears before resting his forehead on hers.

"I do." He says. She smiles and he kisses her softly. He kisses her one more time, on her forehead, before she curls into him again.

"I love you, Din." She says, wrapping her arms around him.

"I love you too, Delia." He replies, leaning his head on hers.
