Samiel: Did you get the flowers I sent you? if you did just know I love you and can't wait to get back home to you and our baby girl.
I rolled my eyes at the fifth set of roses he had sent over to me, he couldn't send hundreds of them and I wouldn't change my decision of letting him be a free man.
Damirus: Sure did, they are headed to the trash just like the last four.
I opened up the garbage can dropping them inside. I didn't understand why men thought roses and dick would erase everything they had done.
Samiel: I love you and I won't stop trying to show you that.
Again I rolled my eyes and mugged the message he had sent, any other time I would fall for that weak ass shit but now I was over it.
Damirus:All you are doing is wasting your time, give that energy up to some other woman, I don't want it.
"Ma'am we finished setting up your bed set, we just need you to sign here after approving that everything is okay"
The furniture delivery man held out a clipboard and pen I went into my bedroom looking at the bed set nodding my head then sighting the papers.
Damirus:Do you want your extra key for your apartment or should I turn it into the leasing office?
His contact photo popped up on my iPhone as an incoming call, I answered it knowing he probably needed clarification on what was going on.
"Why you turning the key in?"
"I found a place for myself and the baby" I smiled at the two bedroom apartment I got on a deal because of pandemic giving me time to find work after having my baby girl.
"Nah we having a baby together we should be under one roof"
"We don't need to live in the same household to be good parents to our child"
Men always tried to pull the family card when they wanted to keep their woman around.
"Why would you think I would be okay with letting my girlfriend and daughter live separately from me"
"Correction ex-girlfriend and didn't need to think about if you would be okay because I don't really care I'm focused on me and mine"
"We never spoke on breaking up, so I don't know where you got that idea from"
"I didn't tell you that if you left then you should be ready to be single? It's not my problem if you weren't listening"
"I'll be back in a few days, hopefully you cool down by then"
