•• Tuesday ••
"Kwangsu, what do you think about this sleeve style for Junhyung's jacket?" I asked him curiously, holding up a sketch curiously.
He tapped his pencil thoughtfully on his chin as he stared at the sketch and then held out a hand. I handed him the paper and he spoke while he made some alterations. "Maybe if you adjusted the collar a bit like this... See?" I nodded and he continued, "Because the collar was high, the arm style looked slightly off. If you make the collar a low-cut, then it works better with the sleeves."
"I see," I murmured, taking the sketch back and staring at it with wonder. "Hey, when are Daejung and Jinyong coming back?"
He shrugged while he worked on Doojoon's ensemble before replying, "They're bringing the designs we worked on into reality. Give them some time Rin," he laughed good-naturedly. I nodded and put some finishing shades of color on Junhyung's outfit before returning my attention to Yoseob's drawings.
I casually questioned, "Do you think that we can finish all of Beast and U-Kiss's designs before Friday?"
"Boy, I sure hope so..." he mumbled. "Otherwise you'll have your work cut out for you."
"That doesn't make me feel better..." I grumbled, putting my pencil down and taking a sip of my tea. "Okay, let me see what we have so far for Beast." Kwangsu handed me three designs and I sighed with happiness at how well the three outfits worked together. I held Junhyung's with them and then nodded with a satisfied smile.
"Looks good," Kwang mused with a smirk. "Let's get these two over with so we can start U-Kiss's outfits." I nodded in agreement and kicked my hand into hyperdrive. The pencil flew across the paper as I spit my imagination out onto it.
The front door opened and I turned to see Jinyong taking his shoes off. "Hey Rin!" he greeted with a grin. I waved at him with a smile and Daejung stumbled in with a tired wave. The two of them clapped quickly and Kwangsu and I halted our work and turned to look at them. "We got the jewelry done!"
"And delivered it!" Daejung added quickly. "We also will have EvoL's concert clothes delivered to Stardom!"
"By tomorrow afternoon," Jinyong input with a stiff smile. "All in all, it's been a good day! How are the Beast designs going?"
"Well," Kwangsu stated. "But I would love it if you two would start things for U-Kiss."
Daejung and Jinyong saluted with playful smiles before seating themselves in the living room and grabbing a drawing pad each. We all fell silent as we worked and I felt my eyes stinging slightly. "I'm tired," I told them bluntly. "I am taking a nap." I put down the finished design for Yoseob's outfit and stretched before standing.
Grabbing my cup, I put it in the kitchen before retreating to my room and falling onto my bed with a sigh. "I can't believe they're leaving for 21 months in three days and all we're doing is working..." I groaned to myself before shutting my eyes with a loud yawn.
"You know I envy stylists." I jolted away and then groaned into my pillow.
"Go away!" I growled at him as he stood beside my bed. "I'm not in the mood."
"Talk to me Hyorin," he whispered, sitting down on the edge of my bed and looking down at me with innocent eyes. "I'm here to listen. Tell me what goes on in that head of yours."
I was suspicious, but then I shut my eyes and took a deep breath. "I can't deal with all of this."
He nodded slowly before inquiring, "All of what?"
I gestured at everything with my hands and replied, "Everything! The new house, the robbery, the new designs, the boys leaving, and you!"
"So... You need help," he said with a sort of finality. "I can do that! Teach me how to design! I can help you while they're away! I'm here for you while they're gone. This is the reason that I'm here."
