Rory POV
Harris has been a pain in the ass since our 'non-date' and I think it has something to do with the way I left her.
You gotta admit, that was good.
Who leaves their wallet in the cup holder?
She's locked herself in her office since I arrived, no one has been allowed in or out.
I'm sure that'll change. She'll get bored of not having anyone to complain to.
Suddenly her door opened and her frustrated eyes immediately found mine.
Speak of the devil.
She didn't even need to call my name, I already started making my way over to her.
I basically live in her office.
As soon as I entered, she locked the door behind me.
"So that's why I'm here?" I smirked.
She turned to face me, her face completely flustered, "You left me on the side of the road."
I took a step backwards and leaned against her desk, "Firstly, I left you in a car park right next to your car that we were literally both just in. Secondly, have you really been thinking about that all night?"
She took a step toward me, "Why?"
"Why what?" I asked, admiring my nails.
"You know what." She growled.
I smirked, invading her personal space and playing with the hem of her shirt, "Oh, why didn't I kiss you?"
She stayed silent, waiting for the answer.
I leaned in towards her ear, "If you want to kiss me that badly, all you have to do is ask." I whispered.
She was about to open her mouth to speak but I interrupted her, "After, you say yes to our next date."
She tried to speak but no words came out. Probably taken back by the fact that I'd interrupted her.
Her lack of words made me softly giggle in her ear.
That clearly made her situation worse because I felt her whole body shudder underneath me.
I lightly placed a kiss on the corner of her jaw, just for a bit of persuasion.
Her hands found their place at my waist as she gripped my shirt for support.
"Only if you want to of course," I added before placing another one further down.
I hooked my both index fingers in her belt loops and pulled her closer to me.
"What's it gonna be detective?" I whispered before lightly tracing my tongue up her neck, taking her skin between my teeth.
She let out a small gasp and her breathing intensified, her nails digging into my waist.
"Okay." She finally breathed.
"Okay what?" I asked against her skin.
"I'll go on a date with you." She huffed in frustration.
I grinned proudly at my achievement, glancing up to meet her eyes, "Embrasse-moi."
What? I learned the important ones.
She wasted no time crashing her lips on mine, picking me up by the waist and sitting me on the desk.
I took her lower lip between my teeth and ran my tongue across it as a hoarse groan escaped her.
That's all it took to send me over the edge.
I roughly pulled her shirt out from her trousers, letting my hands wonder along her bare skin.
She pushed me down onto the desk releasing a gasp as she allowed her tongue to glide across the back of my teeth.
I couldn't control the obnoxious moan that came out of me, it had been building up for so long that it came out as a desperate wine.
I struggled to undo her belt, tugging her towards me so I could reach.
But before I could even think about undoing her zip she broke the kiss.
"Not here, not now." She growled, her eyes dark with lust.
I lay there in my dishevelled state, still trying to process what happened as she tucked her shirt back in.
Not once breaking eye contact.
I'd rather watch her take it all off but I guess this is fine too.
"Text me where and when. I'll be there."
"Here and now." I breathed hoarsely.
"I mean for our date." She smirked smugly.
"Oh. I forgot about that..." I laughed nervously.
She leaned down, placing her hands on the desk either side of my head, "Am I really that forgettable Lorelai?"
"God no, I'm gonna be thinking about this for a while," I smirked.
Her eyes turned even darker, "Call me if you need assistance."
I propped myself up onto my elbows, "I think I can handle it myself." I challenged.
"Ne touche pas à ce qui est à moi." She ordered.
Shit, I don't know that one...
She smirked knowingly, standing up and unlocking the door.
"All I got was don't do something. But guess what, I'll probably do it anyway." I shrugged, hopping off the desk and approaching the door.
Before I could grab the handle, Toni took my hand, "Call me." She ran her thumb across my middle and index fingers and I knew instantly what she meant.
I... Okay. God damn.
"Yes ma'am," I mumbled, trying to control my flustered state.
I watched her shut the door as soon as I left her office.
Where in the world did that come from?
Also, I totally just scored a date with the most beautiful woman in the world.
Now to plan it... God, what am I gonna do?
