The wind screams in agony as it slams violent fists at its passing suspects, destroying practically everything in its path.
Alex grins as the storm passes. The sound of anger fills her with an unexplainable joy.
She was a somewhat normal girl in a way.
She was the type of girl who liked the feeling of crimson liquid falling through her skinny fingers. Or on the other hand, the taste of the crimson red substance on her tongue. She was a ghoul, but at the same exact time, she wasn't.
Now, you may be asking yourself right now, "What is a ghoul?" Well, it's not as easy to explain as you may expect. Most people refer ghouls to the ones noted in fairy tails: fierce monsters with sharp talons, long tails, and other horrifying features.
Well, this is not exactly true.
Alex appears to be human, with her regular "human" features. You know: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, toes, whatever.
When she is hungry however, her pupils turn a horrifying crimson red, and the sclera a midnight black. On top of all of this, pulsing veins lay on top of the black, creating a horrifying effect. Her teeth do not change, however. You are thinking of vampires.
- Sorry the first chapter was so short! The next chapter will be longer, I promise.
