"By the way...... any updates on Astaseul's daughter? Did you manage to accomplish what I requested?" Jisung asked, his gaze fixed on his son's eyes. Taehyung swiftly cleared his throat, shifting his gaze to the side.

"Still nothing," Taehyung muttered, his eyes filled with disappointment. Jisung's hand clamped down on his son's shoulder, the sudden pressure not escaping Taehyung's attention. A frown etched across his face as he felt the grip tighten.

"Taehyung... are you really doing it right? Why hasn't she conceived yet?" Jisung questioned, his expression filled with frustration. Taehyung, taken aback by his father's unexpected response, swiftly withdrew from Jisung's grip.

"Father? Seriously, what is all this about? I understand that you've been urging me to have a son, but you're taking it to a whole new extreme," Taehyung exclaimed, his voice laced with bewilderment. Jisung let out a weary sigh, feeling the weight of his frustration, and swiftly pivoted away. He didn't want his son to witness his anger over the matter.

"Father, is there something you're keeping from me? Why the sudden urgency for Jisoo to get pregnant? I mean, it took Minho two whole years of marriage before he gave you a grandchild. I've only been married to Jisoo for 10 months, and you're already pressuring me for a son?" Taehyung questioned, his voice filled with confusion. Jisung took a moment to collect himself, regaining his composure as he turned to face his son once more.

"I apologize! I...I simply desire to meet your son before any unfortunate circumstances befall me!" Jisung exclaimed. Taehyung's eyebrows raised in astonishment.

"What?? But what is going to happen to you??" Taehyung asked worriedly. Jisung sighed and quickly rubbed his forehead.

"I don't know! I'm just saying because you never know what can happen in the future!"

"I can't help but notice how the enemy is growing stronger, and it's starting to make me question if I'll even be around to see your child," Jisung uttered, his voice laced with feigned sorrow. Taehyung's eyes grew heavy as the thought of losing his father weighed upon him. Deep down, he knew Jisung's words held truth, for their only chance at defeating the enemy rested on bringing forth an Acyn child.

"Dad...I empathize with your concerns...but please, bear with me a little longer! I'm putting in all my efforts to bless you with a grandchild, but unfortunately, it's proving to be quite challenging...and I don't want to burden Jisoo with this matter...she might find our persistence overwhelming!" Taehyung expressed. Jisung couldn't help but scoff at his son's response.

"So, you're basically worried about what she may think of us? Have you even mentioned to her the lengths we go to acquire our powers?" Jisung asked, his eyes narrowing. Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as his father's words hung in the air.

"I...I...simply don't wish to intimidate her! I believe she's not prepared," Taehyung expressed, his eyes filled with apprehension. Jisung couldn't help but burst into laughter, his sharp gaze fixed upon his son.

"Ohh...Taehyung...the longer you hesitate, the more challenging it becomes! Isn't it evident to her that you possess the power to take away souls?" Jisung asked.

"Indeed, she is aware... however, she holds the belief that we spare their lives! And it is a fact, we do not harm individuals within nightclubs. We merely extract their essence!" Taehyung exclaimed. Jisung found himself unable to contain his laughter, thoroughly amused by his son's words.

"You're displaying such weakness and concern... all because you're too afraid to confess to her the truth about our dark deeds," Jisung exclaimed. Taehyung clenched his fists, attempting to contain his mounting frustration.
