JUNGKOOK POV

Jungkook sat on the couch with an arm around Jimin.

Joon and hobi had arrived back and helped a limping Woosan upstairs.

He had a few weeks of healing ahead of him but he'd make a full recovery.

Joon joined them in the living room a few minutes later.

"So I think we've all noticed our run of bad luck lately."

"First,both hobi and Jackson's cars are vandalized in town."

"Then Kira is run off the road Then Woosan is set upon by a group of alpha thugs."

"At the same time, Social Services get a flurry of false reports, mostly related to Jungmin but also a few about the rest of the cubs."

"And someone tipped off Jimin's family that he was here. They rode in, all guns blazing to take him and Min away from the 'bad influence' of our pack."Jungkook added.

"You don't think it's a coincidence?" Jimin asked, echoing what Jungkook was thinking.

"We're being targeted."

"I'm guessing Jiwoo's behind it." Joon said.

Beside Jungkook Jimin tensed. "He can't be."

"You said he was still locked up."

"He is." Jungkook assured him.

"That's not going to change anytime soon."

"Then how is he doing this?"

"He's got friends in the outside world, I'm betting." Jungkook said looking at Joon.

"Jimin would know better than we do."

"Jiwoo's pack has allies, right?"

Jimin's answer was hesitant. "They are friends with other packs But there's one they're especially close with."

"Jiwoo has a lot of respect for their alpha leader, Derrick."

"He's ex-military too, I think
they served together."

"Their packs go on hunts together a few times a year."

"Proper hunts,not for omegas I don't think the other alpha approved of that."

"So how do we make these guys stop? Woosan would have been seriously hurt if those passersby hadn't intervened, Kira could have been badly injured too."

"It's only a matter of time before someone is killed, if they keep escalating."

Jungkook said. "I'm guessing you have an idea, Joon."

"Jin said something about an unwelcome guest."

Joon stood, drawing all eyes to him. "We can't tackle this from the source."

"There's no getting through to Jiwoo So we talk to these guys instead, pack to pack."

"They have no incentive to talk to us." hobi pointed out.

Jungkook got it then, figuring out Joon's plan. "Then we give them one."

"Grab one of their people, bring them to our territory."

"They'll have to talk to us then."

Tricky and potentially dangerous but simple as far as plans went.

"What are we going to say to them?" Kira wondered.

"How do we convince them to back off?"

"We're not going to convince them." Joon said. "Jimin is."

All eyes turned to Jungkook's mate, who shrank back into his chair.
