Kim Rok Soo cried for who knows how many hours. When his teammates died, he didn't cry but when his single strand of hope vanished, he finally snapped. He woke up and found himself inside a tent. He shot up and immediately walked out. He clearly remembered this place. It was the day before the final battle.

Did I come back a little bit in the past? Rok Soo asked in his mind. His thoughts were halted as he saw Choi Han and the others looking at him with shocked expressions as if they were asking.

If I came back that only meant Cale is still alive! Rok Soo smiled at the thought.

"Hey, have you seen Cale?" Rok Soo asked one of the knights, who looked at him with a confused expression.

"Pardon me, who?" The knight replied.

"What do you mean 'who'? I'm talking about Cale Henituse. He was supposed to be here with me," Rok Soo responded, with a slight irritation in his tone. The knight looked at other knights and scratched his cheek.

"I don't know who Cale Henituse is. Is he a relative of Count Henituse?" The knight once again replied. Kim Rok Soo widened his eyes.

Nobody knew Cale Henituse? He thought. He approached Choi Han and the others, he's angry with them but he had no choice.

"Rok Soo," Choi Han called with a sad expression. Rosalyn, Lark, Ron and Vicross were with him. Kim Rok Soo was looking at them with cold eyes.

"Didn't we defeat the White Star and the Sealed God, but it seems we came back?" Rosalyn asked.

"Maybe we had been given a chance to prevent our mistake," Lark guessed. All of their faces brighten. All of them knew what mistake Lark was talking about.

"Something's not right, Cale isn't here," Kim Rok Soo answered. All of them turned their heads towards Rok Soo.

"Nobody knows him, like he didn't exist in the first place," Rok Soo continued. Before anyone could respond, Raon flew at high speed.

"Human! Cale-human's father is calling!" He yelled. The knights around them had a confused expression. Ohn and Hong, who followed behind Raon, noticed this and they felt strange.

"Raon, Ohn, Hong, you remember Cale?" Rok Soo asked. The three children nodded and yet the others, except for them, don't remember Cale Henituse.

Raon connected the call and Deruth's worried face showed.

"Is my son, Cale, there?" He asked.

"No, he's not here. Nobody seemed to remember him either," Rok Soo answered. Deruth frowned even more.

"It's the same here as well. My servants and knights told us that there was no redhead in the family," Deruth responded while massaging his temples.

What the fuck is going on? Is this the God of Death's doing? I'll definitely kill that motherfucker, Kim Rok Soo cursed.

"Let's talk about this later. We have to settle the priority first," Rok Soo replied and hung up the call.

It was truly strange, all of them—their family, friends, and allies—came back a little to the past with their memories intact. What's even more strange was that other people with no relation to Cale don't remember him. As if they were telling them Cale Henituse didn't exist in the first place. Kim Rok Soo's head started to hurt when Kage approached them.

"Rok Soo, I know you're confused rig was having a difficult time processing everything. But I received a message from the God of Death, he said he will answer all your questions after we defeat the White Star and resealed the God of Despair," Kage said. Rok Soo nodded. They needed to settle the issue with the White Shit and his god first.
