Tubbo's sword dropped, clanging onto the ground. Tommy threw his by it and his hands flew up to cover his mouth. They just stared blankly at eachother, the emotion completely changing.
Both Tommy and Tubbo were struggling to keep salty tears from welling up at thier eyes. They were unable to say anything, as was everyone who heard what he said.
Tommy's hands dropped and he looked away, not able to look anyone in the eyes after that. He focused on breathing, standing up straight. Everything got kind of blurry, he was dizzy and a little lightheaded.
"Tommy?" Tubbos voice was small, quiet and worrying. He couldn't take his eye off the boy, which seemed to only make it worse.
"Just hand him- give him the discs."
"Give Dream the-?" Tubbo was confused. Tommy would never say that. He had to make sure.
"Yeah." Tommy finally looked back at the other. He rethought what he said many times, but in the end that is what he decided.
"Are you-?" Tubbo wasn't even sure, so he had to make sure Tommy was. They didn't make full conversation, just mumbles that most of the others couldn't hear. He made his way closer to the chest.
"Just, no..just give him.." He stopped when Tubbo pulled the disc, Mellohi, out of his enderchest. The disc he hadn't seen in so long, right in front of him, but so much out of his reach.
Tommy gave a short nod, looking away. Tubbo hesitantly turned to Dream. He could see a faint smile, one the man was obviously trying to hold back. He only looked down at the disc, not even the boy.
Tubbo handed over the disc, halfway relieved that it was over. It still hurt a lot more than it should have.
"Tommy," Techno pulled him back. "Tommy what are you doing?" He asked in a whisper. Tommy walked forward, turning around to see him. He stood next to Tubbo.
"Techno, I'm so.. I'm so sorry." Tommy bit the inside of his lip. Had he just fucked another one up?
"Tommy, we could get out of here. We could pearl out. I'd cover your escape." Techno was careful with his words, not letting everyone around him hear either. His sword was by his side, easy to hit anyone who tried to attack before he had to make his leave.
"No- if..if this is what I've become than I don't want to be me anymore." Tommy didn't mean to say that outlook, quieting down as he looked to the people in the crowd.
"Tommy, what are you saying?" Techno questioned, raising his sword up to his hand. He knew damn well what Tommy was doing, how he was betraying him for L'manburg just like he did last time, but he needed to hear it. He still had hope for the boy.
"I'm with Tubbo." Tommy looked momentarily down at the boy's hand, grabbing onto it and holding it. Tubbo watched too, smiling at it as he tightened the lock between their fingers.
"Tommy, when I said I was going to destroy L'manburg, when I said you could sit it out, I didn't mean to switch sides! Your fighting against me!"
"Techno, I'm worse than everyone I didn't want to be." Tommy spoke softly, sorrowful look into Techno's eyes. Clearly, he made a move towards Dream to imply that's most of what he was talking about.
"Tommy, think hard about this, before you make this decision, because you can't undo this." Techno sterned angrily, flipping the sword in his hand.
"I'm sorry." Tommy told him again. He meant it, and Techno knew that, but it wouldn't change the fact that he had just joined the enemy side.
When no one said anything after that point, just a stare being shared between the two opposing men, Dream decided to again take the spotlight.
"Thank you, Tubbo, for the discs. Igreatly appreciate it." Dream flashed a sort of sarcastic smile, the feelings mixed between the three as both of the kids turned to the man, disc in hand. "But, I just want to say that your an idiot."
