Standing at the top of Beacon Tower, I, Olivia Imeya, smiled as I looked at Cinder, who was still carrying the arrow on her shoulders. She yanks it out of her body with a disturbing hiss and struggles to get to her feet, all the while Sumia seizes the opportunity to escape and rushes over to be close to me. She was relieved to see me, but you could see that seeing me here had caused her a great deal of distress.
Sumia: What are you doing here, Olivia?
I grin broadly and wink with my left eye as I tilt my head to the side.
Olivia: When I heard you and pyrrha were getting your butt kicked, I had to be here to witness it for myself.
Pyrrha was standing on the other side of me at that moment. her hands began to tighten around her weapons as she fixed her gaze on cinder, who was pressing her palm against the spot on her body where the arrow had struck her and shrieking as she used her maiden powers to seal the wound. In all honesty, it caught me off guard; here I was under the impression that Cinder would be too much of a coward to pull anything like that off.
Olivia: Look at you over there, huffing and puffing like a dog.
Cinder's eye flickers, and a vein bulges out from her forehead. She clenches her teeth as her eyes meet mine.
Cinder: you....
I give my bow a few spins and then fling it into the air. As it floats through the air, it changes into my sword and falls into my hands. I sling it over my shoulder with a little touch.
Olivia: What? Don't tell me you're scared because I showed up.
After such a long time, I can see that I still haven't lost the ability to get under people's skin, which was formerly one of my favorite things to do. The look in her eyes tells you all you need to know; nevertheless, much like a kid who is on the verge of throwing a temper tantrum and is just one consequence away from doing so, you can be sure that she will break. the level of heat in the air increased and became more concentrated. I draw my sword, and the other two do as well, but all of our attention is focused on the lady who is responsible for this.
Pyrrha: She's more powerful than I imagined, so be cautious.
Sumia: I hope you realize that with us three, it's overkill.
As a result of the assurance provided by these two, I crack my neck and feel terrific.
Olivia: Yeah, but I couldn't care less about it.
Pyrrha nods her head, and Sumia smiles as she looks forward.
Sumia: Well, at least we're all on the same page.
Her eyes flame up. She gritted her teeth with cinder as her eyes burst into flames as well.
Cinder: YOU WILL ALL DIE!!!
and with that, the battle has officially begun. Cinder made a sweeping motion with her arms and released a surge of flaming energy from her hands. Pyrrha instantly moved in front of Sumia and I and used her shield to prevent the flames from approaching us. Although she was pushed back, she maintained her position, which allowed us to observe a gap in the flames' coverage. My partner didn't waste a second and immediately began rushing towards Cinder after jumping over pyrrha. She heard us approaching and let out a scream before beginning to fling balls of fire at us. Sumia and I were able to deflect them away with ease; but, as we drew closer, a thought occurred to me that may be useful. Since Sumia is the maiden, her attacks will be far more powerful than mine, and because of this, it will be in our best interest to find opportunities for her to attack. I accelerate, creating a space between Sumia and me. She rapidly becomes worried about the unexpected shift.
