I regained my consciousness and thought I was dead.
**I wouldn't be able to feel or think if I was dead. Or maybe I would? How would I know? I've never been dead before. Maybe...**
I opened my eyes and they started to burn a little bit. I was floating in the air. No, I was floating in water. I had a mask attached to my mouth and nose that was feeding me oxygen. Whatever was in the water was making my eyes burn, but I kept them open as I looked around. I didn't recognize my surroundings at all, but I was in some sort of warehouse.
**Where am I? I'm floating inside of some capsule in a warehouse, but why? Did Archer and their Master catch me?!**
I started to panic as I moved toward the only window I could see out of. I started to kick on it and it fell out way easier than I expected. The liquid started to drain as I climbed out of the capsule I was inside. I didn't even realize there were tubes attached to my back until I got far enough away for them to rip off. I looked around some more and didn't see anything resembling an exit. I was naked, alone, and in the dark. Saber was nowhere to be found, either, so I didn't even have that reassurance.
**My injuries don't hurt. There's no way that was a dream, but...**
I lifted my hand and looked at my Command Seals. I was disoriented and confused. I wanted Saber to be with me to put me at ease and just in case anything were to happen.
Y/N: As the Master of the Saber Class Servant, I use these Command Seals to-
A painful shock went through my hand and my Command Seals flashed. My command was denied for whatever reason. The pain was enough to scare me into not trying again.
**Why didn't that work? Where am I at? What's Saber doing?**
The lights in the room turned on and I was able to see clearly now. As expected, the room wasn't much to gawk at. Just a bunch of barrels, crates, and miscellaneous machines whose use I wouldn't have been able to figure out at a passing glance. After a moment, a man entered the room. He was tall with a long gray beard and slicked-back gray hair. He wore a black suit and seemed to be quite elegant. He wore the cliche TV Show butler appearance. I started to approach him.
Y/N: Hey, where-
He drew a gun and aimed it at me.
???: Stay there.
I put my hands up and stopped approaching him.
Y/N: Sorry if I'm trespassing, I don't even know how I got here!
???: I know who you are, but I don't know what you're capable of. It's nothing personal, kid. Just stay there.
I didn't move. If I spoke or moved, he could've pulled that trigger and taken me out before I had a chance to even use my magic.
**This is a terrible wake-up party... How do I get out of this situation?**
The door he entered through opened again and a familiar face emerged.
Y/N: Y?
It was Y. The girl who was Rider's Master in the Grail War. We weren't allies, but I wouldn't have exactly called us enemies either.
Y: You've been unconscious for an entire day straight.
Y/N: What the hell happened?
Y: What do you remember?
Y/N: Archer and her master, Leon... I was fighting them, well... It wasn't much of a fight because I sent Saber-
I started to panic and look around. Saber was missing and I was in potential enemy territory.
