When the battle is over, and war finally ends, survivors will only be the ones that can still cry, laugh and love. If you choose to shut your emotions down, you won't be a survivor.
You will be the victim.
You will be dead.

I am crossing a trunk in front of me. Everything is covered in snow. Even though I prepared for this journey, the cold still finds a way beneath the clothes. There are trees on my left side, and a slope on the other. There must be some shelter or base near. I walk cautiously now, I don't want to be shot by neither enemy nor friend. There is a black wall seeking from the trees in front of me. It isn't quite noticable because of the distance. Now i bring my hands in the air holding a rifle in one. I walk slowly, waiting for someone to notice me.
"Drop your weapon!" I finally hear them shout. I drop my rifle on the ground, seeing it falling into the snow. Two guards are running to me and taking me inside both strongly holding my hands. I enter the gate with them. Tall muscular man stands there looking at me. He must be in charge of this place.
"Who are you?" I do know those people could easly be on the enemies side, but I don't care.
"You know who I am." I say with my head up. It'll take him to realise, but he will. They all do.
"Demon sniper." He says, with awe.
"Yes. Although I prefer to be called Gina."
He nodds still amused to see me. He tells guards to free me, and gestures to his cabin. I follow him.
I'm not suprised he realised who I am so quickly. Even though there aren't photos of me or something like that, people still talk. Everyone knows how demon sniper looks like. Long red hair, with a face described as fox. I know all descriptions by heart already. There are a lot of girls that look like me, but not much of them are snipers. I sit at the work table, with him on the opposite side. Whole cabin is made of metal, like every I know. He is blonde, with long beard. Even on the table he looks huge. But he doesn't look to be all muscels, his face reveals calm and strict. He gives impression of a great leader.
"What brings you here alone, Gina?" He asks.
"I am heading to see my family. I've been on the north for a whole year, as you know. I saw a shelter and... well it's the coldest month of the winter. If I could stay here while the cold wave passes, I would be extremely grateful."
"Of course. A little help is the least we can do in return of what you did. You can stay as long as you want. If you need anything else, my name is Krage."
I thank him one more time. He calls one of his man to show me a cabin in which I'll stay. This ones a lot bigger than Krage's, but I understand why. Blankets on the floor, making "bed". There are fifteen of them here, but I still can't say it's too tight. It's probably for soldiers. There is quite enough place for all of us. Just like the place I lived for a year. I take the blanket from the man and put it on the floor and sit on it. Than I remember.
"Hey!"- I call a man before he closed the door. He looks at me questioningly. "My rifle? Can I have it back?"
"Krage said not to give it to you unless neccesary." And then he left.
I look around me, but there's nothing to look at really. One cabinet with clothes and everything else is basicly just blankets on the floor. I just wanted to get up when doors open, and bunch of soldiers come inside. I decide to get up as they look at me like I fell from the sky.
"It looks like we have a newcomer."- says the first to enter. I see only five girls, and I don't like it. There was more in my camp. I feel a sudden urge to escape because of this many male looks on me.
"Who are you, girl?"- another one asks, finally.
I just opened my mouth to answer but I was cut by another guy who is breaking through the crowd.
"Hey, what the hell is going on here!?" he yells, coming in to the cabin. He finally gets trough.
"Gina?" A dark haired boy looks at me shocked.
"Bellamy?" I can't belive my eyes. It been two years. Two years!
He walks fastly across all blankets and gets to me. He looks at me with some gaze I can't define and than he hugs me. I cross my arms around him feeling relief in my chest. He still smells beautiful.
"How...why are you here?" he asks still close to me.
"I need to go home." I wave with my head. "I need to see my family. Did you see them? They are okey, right?"
"Yes they are. They've been moved along with mine. But there is no home Gina. There's no home."
My eyes move to the floor. Those words hit me like a hammer. My city. There's none of it. Those bastards must have bombed it. My home! I stop my emotions to go further. There are people here. What is gone is gone. I'll have my time to mourn.
"Where are they?" I ask.
"Across the river." He answers too shortly. The river is very long, you idiot. Still I don't ask further, he'll tell me precisely later. I am staying here a couple of days after all. So I just nodd.
Even though the crowed moved across the room I see them still looking at me. Bellamy turns me to present me to all of them.
"Ladies and gentlemen," I roll my eyes, "this is Demon Sniper of Pelian clan!" He says it loudly.
"Call me Gina, everybody." Then I walk out, tired of people looking at me like I am a real demon.
Snow isn't falling. Air outside is very dry, as well as everything else. I couldn't make a snowball even if I wanted to. It's more like a white sand that just bursts in hand. I go and sit on one bench near the other cabin. Soon I hear boots confidently getting closer to me. He sits next to me, and even though I don't look I still know who it is. Who else could it be?
"When do you plan to go?" he asks.
"Bellamy, I just came here. You want me to leave already?"
"Don't be pathetic." he says, revealing his usual speach. "I am asking you because of your traveling. I'd like to go with you."
I couldn't help my self holding a laugh.
"You are not coming with me!"
He frowned, but a smirk plays in a corner of his mouth.
"Why's that?"
I look at him stopping the lauther. "I don't like your company. You annoy me. In fact, you are the most annouying person I know. Bellamy, don't play suprised, you know that I can't stand you."
"I can't belive that high school is still bothering you! Gosh!" He smirks, but this time out of disbelief. " I thought we were over that!"
"No we're not. I know we hugged , but don't take it personal. You were just the first familiar face I've seen in a year." I say, looking in front of me, at a Krage's cabin. He does that too. I see him by the corner of my eye. He thightened his jaw.
"I am still going."
"No you're not." I thighten my jaw as well, feeling frustrated.
"I am the only one that knows where are they exactly. If you want to go, you need me to guied you."
"You can just draw me a map!" I shout at him, feeling the anger burning in me.
"And I won't." I see his eyes getting darker as he tells me this into my face. Blood in my veins is literary starting to boil as my breaths become shalow and quick.
"Why do you want to come with me so desperatly? So you could have great gosssip with your friends about the demon sniper, huh!? It could be really spicy, you will definetely get them to like you!" I say looking at him with disgust.
He smirks "That could go. But I was mainly focused on seeing my family first."
He gets up and goes to cabin. I still feel rage in me. I saw him for the first time in two years and he made me want to brake his nose just after two minutes.
