Stopping Time Travel

3rd person POV

As the door opened they walked inside and went over to it "So this is it? OA said "This is it" Mr Reed told him "Gotta hand it to ya dad, you were not messin around" OA told him "this is where we house the hard drive" he said as they stopped at one side of the big glowing metal thing in the middle of the room "What happens if you pull it out?" OA said "One of two things, the accelerator will continue to run on a dormant loop but without the algorithm no one will ever be able to program it again" Mr Reed said "Or?" OA said "Or there's a cataclysmic meltdown that will destroy all living things within 100 miles " Mr Reed said "Well let's hope it's the first thing" OA said

*time skip to Adam and Y/n coming in*
"Luise!" Sorian said "Oooh this things about to get weird..." OA said looking at his dad "Were you really gonna steal that from us? Destroy everything we've worked for?" Sorian said
"Our work was supposed to have moral ground rules" Mr Reed told her "We were gonna change the world!" She told him "Change the world? The only thing thats changed is you, have you lost your mind?!" He told her "All these years, I funded your work, I'm not the villain here, I spent millions-" but was cut off by the other her "Hundreds of millions! Of my money, my wealth! Just to fund your every indulgence, but this. This? This is mine to do with as I please, now, Adam give me the drive" she said "No, just no" he told her "I thought you were gonna say that" She said as she opened a door and pulled out younger adam and Y/n grabbing a gun from the person holding them, she held the gun to Adam's head "Maya Jesus christ" Mr Reed said "What the hell are you doing?! Are you crazy?!" Younger Sorian said "Oh I think that's well established" OA said "Adam just listen to her!" Younger Sorian said "It's okay, it's alright" Sorian told her "Cause Adam's gonna give me the drive right now" she said and kissed the top of Adam and Y/ns head, Y/ns eyes pricked with tears ready to spill as she was terrified, Adam slowly grabbed her hand squeezing it "Shhh" Sorian told them "Aren't you adam?" Sorian said looking at OA "A-adam" Y/n said "Adam.." Adam said to OA "Hey beautiful idiot, if I shoot them you die to, along with your wife" Sorian said "Adam" Mr Reed said "I'm thinking it over" OA said "What? What do you mean your thinking?!" Adam said "Yea" OA said "I-its a complicated issue." OA told him "What is there to think over?!" Mr Reed said "It's a big decision!" OA said "No it's not!" Adam said squeezing Y/ns hand again "I need to think it through!" OA said "WERE ABOUT TO LOSE IT OVER HERE!" Adam yelled at OA "Give her the drive!" Younger Sorian yelled "Give her the drive, man!" Mr Reed said "Give her the drive!" Mr Reed yelled and OA winked at Adam, he pulled up he's free hand and pushed the gun away before she could fire it and she hit the glass around the big tube in the middle of the room as everyone looked at it, Y/n ran to Adam and hugged him as he held onto her while the glass started cracking, the computer in the room started talking "Electromagnetic seal, compromised" it said as the glass broke further down, the electricity crackled inside of the tube all the metal started to fly towards the tube, but as Adam was grabbed he let go of Y/n as he was dragged up to the tube by one of the guys "ADAM!" y/n said going to lean on the railing trying to grab him in time but failed "Y/n!" He yelled "Hey let me go!!" He said straining to get free "Adam hang on!" Mr Reed yelled "Get me that drive, now!" Sorian said, Sorian tried to open up the door but failed as she ran the other way /Get off of me! DAD! Y/N!" Adam yelled "Adam were trying!" Y/n said trying to figure out how to get up to him, tears fell down her face as she thought this would be the last moments with him "I love you!" She screamed "I love you to!" He shouted towards her looking at her tear stained face, OA started battling Christos with his LightSaber, OA dropped his lightsaber and it went rolling at the other side down the floor past the railing, he grabbed christos weapon and let go of it as I was flung up to the tube, christos starting kicking him as they battled, Adam punched the guy holding him in the face and put the glove against the glass and was dragged down to the ground as he landed on a table, he took off the gloves and grabbed the Saber at his feet "yeahhh" he said picking it up as he swung it around and was flown up "Get the drive!" Sorian yelled at Christos, just then Adam landed infront of OA with the light Saber "Adam?!" Y/n said, He smiled at her "Superhero landing" he whispered as she smiled from across the room, he got up and started twirling the light Saber in his hands "Ever had your butt kicked by a 14 year old nerd with an inhaler?" He said, He put half of the light Saber behind him and put his fist out "Suppertime spanky" he said "No" OA said, Adam grunted as he was kicked to the floor by Christos "No!" OA said as he got up battling Christos "Adam!" Y/n yelled running to him but was held back by Mr Reed "It's to dangerous" he told her, tears threatened to fall again as she stared at him before shoving him into the railing and running towards Adam, she knelt down beside him realizing he was knocked out and grabbed the Saber throwing Christos off of OA with it as he was getting choked making the round circle on the door hit him in the face "Y/n?!" OA said "I took martial arts from 5-7, I just never told Adam" she said to OA as he nodded and the computer spoke again telling them to get out, everyone started running, OA and Y/n went to Adam and got him up "Buddy it's time to go, come on!" OA said "I can't shut it down!" Mr Reed said "Stop!" Younger Sorian said pointing a gun at him "I want my drive" sorian told him "You can't have it" he said as Both Adam's stood behind him with Y/n next to Younger Adam holding his hand "Shoot him now!" Sorian told Younger her "Get behind me, all of you!" He told OA, Adam and Y/n "Look dad, dad those guns shoot armor piercing bullets!" OA said "Ya so even behind you were still swiss cheese Mr reed" Y/n said to him "Thank you for that information"Mr Reed said "Your welcome!" OA and Y/n said "Maybe spread out a little" he told them "Good idea" they said moving back a bit "Maya your not a murderer, not yet anyway" he said to YS "Look at me, everything you worked for goes away unless you pull this trigger, here okay come on" Sorian said lifting the gun up again as the had pushed it down "You can do it" Sorian told YS "Do it!" She screeched "Maya your better than this" Mr Reed told her, sorian pushed her younger self and grabbed the gun pointing it at him "I'm sorry Louis but you brought this on yourself" she said to Mr Reed "Maybe so" he told her "You think I'm playing?" She questioned "Ask your son how I play" she said "I had to kill his wife twice, almost 3 times now to protect the integrity of my program" she told him "Now don't think I won't put a bullet through you" She said as Both Adam's looked at her with sadness in they're eyes "Give it to me!" She screeched as Adam looked at Y/n who's face wad stained with tears, he hugged her and looked at OA who looked devastated "No" Mr Reed said "You just never understood the bigger picture" Sorian said, she pulled the trigger and it almost hit Mr Reed but because if the bullet being metal it turned and hit YS "And you never understood the science" Mr Reed said smiling at her as a tear fell down her cheek she disappeared "How did you know that would work?" OA asked "Those armor-piercing rounds contain a magnetic steel core, sometimes it pays to be a nerd guys" Mr Reed said looking at them as the computer spoke "We should go" Y/n said as the computer spoke up "fifteen seconds remaining" it said "Whoa" Mr Reed said as the arms of the tube started moving "Yeah we should run" Mr Reed said "Yep!" OA agreed and all four of them started running to the exit, the computer started counting down from fifteen, they all made it out at the last second when the doors closed, they got down the elevator "Well I'd say bring your kid to work day was a huge success" OA said "Uh-huh" Mr Reed responded "Yep" Adam said, Y/n just smiled at the 3 boys around her and muttered "For sure" making Adam smirk at her sarcasm.

Next chapter will be them going back :( and then I've got bonus chapter ideas in mind, anybody want those before I make the sequel? 😌
