THE NIGHT SKY was out in New York City as civilians could be seen walking on the street, their shoulders occasionally brushing against one another's as the streets have always been so crowded. The honks of vehicles could be heard all around like they usually were, the traffic busy as usual in the big city as voices yelled at one another. As people were walking on the streets, the lid of a drain suddenly pops off, followed by Y/n jumping out and then Peter right behind her.
Almost every single person around them snapped their gazes to the two spiders, hearing all about them on the news as some of them even dug into their pockets to get their phones and film them. A screeching sound was heard as a vehicle quickly stopped before the driver could hit them and Peter slid the lid back towards the hole, getting it perfectly inside as Y/n rushed to the sidewalk, getting her phone out while dialing her sister's number.
Meanwhile, as Peter rushed to her, people behind them had gotten excited at the sight of the two and held their phones up to get a group picture with the heroes behind them.
"Hey, where are you?" Y/n questions when her sister answered the phone.
"I'm at OSCORP." Gwen replies in a hurried tone.
"You have to get out of there now right now, okay?" Y/n tells her.
"The antidote is cooking." Gwen informs.
Y/n shakes her head frantically. "No, no, no. Connors is on the way. He's coming to you right now. He needs the device. He's gonna infect the whole city!"
"There's eight minutes left." Gwen reads.
"You're gonna wait there for eight minutes after what I just told you?" Y/n asks in disbelief. "People are gonna die. You leave right now. That is an order, okay?"
"I'm gonna get everybody out." Gwen ushers out.
"Did you hear wh--" Y/n begins, but stops herself when her sister hung up. "Gwen! You Mother Hubbard. Are you serious?"
A groan of frustration escaping her, the girl jumps up and shoots a web to a building, beginning to swing. Peter was right behind her, realizing they were headed towards the OSCORP Tower. As they ran along the walls of the building, webs attached when Y/n heard the voice of her father, a helicopter in the air near them. Officers had formed at the top of a roof as they shot at the two, but they were too quick for them to hit.
Just as they turned the corner, a bright light from the helicopter in front of them making them squint their eyes from beneath their masks just as a trigger was pull from a weapon, the electric bullet, that doesn't kill anyone, hitting right against Peter's chest, sending him down. The boy crashed against a taxi vehicle before he was falling on the road.
