𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 || 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐢

☕ 𝟎𝟒𝟕 ☕

You enjoyed the scenery until you found a familiar bored cat sitting on the wall. He seemed like he was waiting for you. You gave him a questioning look and walked up to him. He soon jumps off to the other side of the wall. You were going to follow him until you heard your name out, making you look back to your brother.

"Were you really going to leave me like that, cupcakes?" Satou teases.

"No! There was a stray cat, so I wanted to follow him," you reason.

Satou only laughs and pats your head.

"I trust you. Don't worry," he says, "Well, ready to go home?"

"I sure am," you sigh happily.

"Too bad, because we gotta do some shopping," Satou says, "Mom gave me the grocery list."

"Great . . ."

Once you two finally got everything you needed, you walked back home, but while you were, a cat seemed to follow you home. Yes, you were still quite confused with why he was still at a distant from you, but you didn't mind.

"Oh, it's that cat from earlier," you comment.

"Cat?" Satou turns to your direction and finds nothing there, "Where?"

"Huh?" you turn to your brother, "He's right- oh, he ran away. Well, there was a cat who keeps on following me."

"It seems like he stopped, because of your face."

You gasp in terrible astonishment.

"How could you say such a thing! I have a very beautiful face!"

"Not with that attitude, you don't."

"Geez, after the days we have fun, this is how you repay me."

"What can I say? You are my sister. Where's the fun in not annoying a sister?"

"When I'm on my period."

"Wait, are you?"

"No, you dummy," you tease.

Saiki crosses his arms as he eats his lonely dinner. It was suffocating for him to not get to see you. Even though he just saw you a few hours ago, it was lonely. He does deserve this loneliness after what he's done to you. But his life seems so monotonous again. There was no one to hang around, no one to annoy him, and no one to even watch about. Sure, there's a T.V. he could use, but it has terrible service.

So, instead of watching the daily show Saiki watches, he watches over you by using his usual cat disguise. Walking past the robots his brother used for him, he walks right past them. He was too small for them to even look at. Tumbling on random objects, Saiki watches you get pampered up for the evening night.

Why were you looking oh so beautiful even though that disgusting face was just trying to cover it up with a bit of powder and glossy lipstick to seduce a certain gang-gang man? That's when Saiki remembered that you had a date tonight.

Oh, how jealous he was at the moment. To be around you was something Saiki never thought he'd be ideal to. I mean, look at you and your ugly face. As the narrator, it was odd for someone like you to even date an ex-gangster, knowing that you just loved a short tangerine, but we don't talk about him anymore, right?

As for you, you found the same cat through your mirror. You turn around and realize it's still him, still bored and serious. You smile, making the disguised cat almost break that emotionless face. When you came closer to him, he realized that he wasn't affected of being hurt when you got closer to him. Looking at your neck, he finds a different necklace. You realize he stares at the new necklace and smile, opening the window.

"Hey, kitten," you squat down to the window's level, "I can tell you're pretty curious about my necklace."

Saiki only jumps down to your floor and onto your bed, sitting still and listening to you. You find his actions very human-like, despite that you think he's a stray. You didn't mind, though. You are quite used to it at this point.

"You're weird. I mean that as a good thing, though," you say, sitting down beside him, "How would I describe you? Oh, you're not like the other cats. Sounds very cliche, doesn't it?"

He looks up at you and sits on your lap, paws facing you as he looks at the pretty view. You found his actions cute and pet his back.

"Yup, real weird, but I like it," you say.

Then your alarm goes off, making you realize the time.

"Oh, gosh! I gotta go!"

You carry the cat and put him out yoru window.

"I'm sorry, kitten, but I gotta go right now. I have to go on an important date," you smile and wink at him.

Saiki makes a grumpy face as you walk away, yelling at a distance to your brother that you were leaving. Great, so Saiki has another problem to deal with.

Well, at least he has the necklace, right? Good thing it only activates when you wear it.
