The sun was up and shining down on the people of New York City. Like every single day when their was school for the students and teachers, the hallways of Midtown Science was crowded with students as many of them stood at their lockers, forms of groups of friends having been created as they happily spoke to one another. Some could even be heard as they spoke about Spider-Man and Spider-Woman.
A smile on her face, Y/n found herself leaning against the lockers, hands holding onto the straps of her backpack that was over her shoulders as she happily spoke to Peter, who had been digging into his locker and getting his books out for the next class. A loud roar is what made everyone in the hallways freeze, their happy chatters stopping just as screams echoed throughout the school.
Y/n and Peter's eyes widened at the sight of the lizard, who Y/n had learned from the boy happened to be Dr. Curtis Connors. Almost immediately, as the creature broke the wall from the bathroom near the end of the hall, the students and everyone in the hallways were sprinting away in fear as the two spiders shared a wide eyed look.
Glancing over her shoulder, Y/n met her sister's eyes, the blonde having been standing near the end of the hall near her locker, and the e/c eyed girl ushers her to run with her hand. Obeying her sister, Gwen takes one last glance to her sister before turning around and rushing off like everyone else was doing. Connors' gaze was looking around before they landed on Peter, the person who he had been looking for.
Together, both spiders ran right towards the lizard as he ran towards them, swinging his hands to claw at them. Luckily, however, they both slid underneath and shot webs from their web-shooters as they wrapped around Connor's ankles, sending him to the floor. A look of realization coursing through him, the same realization he felt when he found Peter Parker's camera in the sewers, Connors looks over his shoulder at Y/n, feeling anger flow through him that she had tried to stop him with Peter.
The girl was quick to jump up and on his back, going to send a rough hit to him but he grabbed the back of her bag and threw her over his shoulder, both her and Peter now being his main target. Peter was quick to jump on the lizard's back like Y/n had done, his foot meeting Connors face before he was sent to the ground like Y/n had been.
Without a thought, Connors grabbed their backpacks and threw them to the other side of him, their suits having been in their bags. After that, the creature grabbed ahold of them both and threw them against the trophy case, breaking it as they were sent back into the wall, the brick breaking while they slid on the floor of the classroom they were now in.
Deciding to deal with Peter first, Connors large hand grabbed ahold of Y/n by the neck and tossed her to the side before placing his foot on Peter's arm when he went to attack. Pushing off her hands and onto her feet, Y/n jumped up while also shooting a web towards her and Peter's backpacks just as she landed on Connors' back.
