"Adam, make sure you feed Hawking before you leave for school honey" Mrs Reed told her son as he played his video games on the couch "Your still here" Mrs Reed said to her husband "and you cooking what are you making? Hi" She said to her husband and smiled at her son "I thought you would like a Denver omelet" Mr Reed said "That's not a Denver omelet that's a cry for help" his wife told him smiling at him "the eggs are burnt, and the bacons somehow totally raw" he told her "oh you...oh no, no, no, no, no- what, do you wanna talk about why your still here? Instead of being at work." She questioned grabbing the pan off the stove "i..i...well I just wanted to stay home with you today" he said "You don't say..I like this guy" she said towards her husband "This guy likes you" he told her "what's going on with you honey?" She asked him "does he seem...does he seem sad to you?" he questioned his wife "No, he's an odd duck, like his dad." She told him smiling and closing the fridge after grabbing the milk "I happen to collect odd ducks" She said making cereal "I don't know if I should've built that game for him. I mean shouldn't he be outside playing with Y/n and the rest of the kids? I mean how's he gonna find his place in this world?" He said "his place in the world? He's a kid, we're his place in the world" Mrs Reed said "Your his place in the world" he told her "Okay, whatever is going on. Listen I can tell you the truth, or something that's gonna make you feel better." "You really think we can do this?" Y/n asked OA "maybe, maybe not. We will see" he said "but we're gonna try anyway?" Adam said "Ya, destroy time travel, how will we do that?" Y/n said "this is the world's largest electromagnetic accelerator, its 2018 so EM technology isn't stable yet. So heres what were gonna do, were gonna blow this bitch up" He told them "Blow it up?" Adam and Y/n said at the same time "yep" he told them "How did I live this long?!" Adam said "This is a terrible idea" Y/n said "Ya well when a bad idea is the only idea it becomes a great idea" OA said "Who said that?" Adam asked "You, nine years from now right before you get arrested" OA said "What?!" Adam said "Excuse me?!" Y/n said "Try to focus, we'll have to deal with security. You know this big bag of toys you guys love?" He said dropping the bag at the duos feet "Yeahh" Adam said grinning up at him "Being a geek is about to pay off" OA told them, OA walked off "Reading me?" OA asked "Roger that, red leader" Y/n said "this is butter nut and sippy cup, ten four over" Adam said "Lets just talk like normal people, okay?" OA said "Copy that!" Y/n said as Adam got something out of the bag "Oh im pretty sure.." OA said "Don't move! On your knees" the guy in a suit said "I'm sorry what?" OA said "Were taking you back to 2050, Reed" the guy in a suit told him "I can't hear you through the helmet, it muffles a bit. It's hard to hear you" he said "Don't get me wrong, incredible outfits tho!" He said "they're intimidating but also scream 'Please don't hurt me!'" OA said "ON your knees! I wont tell you again!" The guy said pointing the gun at him as the drone flew above them "Well you, your right about that" OA said "Adam what are you doing? I'm about to get my butt kicked!" OA said "Don't worry he doesn't wanna fight" Adam told him "They wanna fight, they really really wanna fight" OA told him "Just look him in the eyes and smile! Smile in a way that says 'I want this, I've been waiting my whole life for this'  then drop down and hit him in the private bathing suit parts" Y/n said "ADAM!" OA screamed "Roger that!" Adam said as he used the glove on his hand to fight off the guys with the drone, OA got out his Saber and hit one guy in the back with it and killed the rest of the guys when a black car sped around the corner "Adam, your on those cars right?" OA said "Roger that middle aged Adam" Adam said, He shot one of the cars making it fly into a pole but didn't get the other one in time "Whoo!" Mr Reed said pulling up and getting out of the car hitting OA with the door "That was invigorating!" He said "Dad?" OA said "Dad?" Adam questioned "Mr reed?!" Y/n said looking to see if she could see them from where they were sitting "I'm sorry are you okay?" Mr Reed questioned "This close!" Adam said putting his fingers closely to eachother "That was amazing!" Mr Reed said "THIS CLOSE!" OA said "Where's Adam and Y/n?" Mr Reed said "They're fine" OA told him and kicked the car door closed "Hey hey!" Mr Reed said "Hey?" OA said "That's your mother's car!" Mr Reed said "THE CAR?!" OA said motioning to all the damage at the front of the vehicle "What are you doing here?!" OA asked "Well I went to the motel and when I didn't find you here I assumed you'd be here" Mr Reed said "I mean it's not like your keeping a low profile, obviously" he said looking around at the scene around them "I mean that the hell is this?!" He said "Tell you what, you come up with a plan and we'll do it your way, sounds good?" OA said "Oh god, thank God there's a plan!" Mr Reed said "Oh I was worried I was beginning to think you were making this up as you went along!" Mr Reed said "Adam I'm goin inside cover the perimiter" OA said into the head piece "No one gets in behind me" OA said "Sorry that was harsh" Mr Reed said "Roger doger" Adam said as he felt Y/ns head on his shoulder, he smiled "Harsh?! You shaved my butt with a Subaru!" OA told his dad "I-i saved your butt with a Subaru son" Mr Reed said "Whats Mr Reed doing?" Y/n questioned "I'll ask, hey what's dad doing?" Adam asked "Dads being critical big surprise" OA said "Okay i- your trying to break into a highly sensitive secure facility with two 8th graders! I am not being critical i am narrating!" Mr Reed told his oldest son "will you just stop? Stop, where the hell are you going?" Mr Reed questioned "I'm going to destroy your accelerator and I'm gonna enjoy it" OA said "Do you realize that you have broken every rule!" Mr Reed said "You have blown past every conceivable ethical boundary like it wasn't even there" Mr Reed told OA "Ya? Then why are you here, dad?" He said "Because you can't do it without me" Mr Reed said after a couple seconds and then walked inside, they walked inside and seen sorians gigantic face on the wall talking but blocked her out "If you destroy the accelerator sorian will simply rebuild it" Mr Reed said "So what will work?" OA questioned "What your after is ISPCA" Mr Reed told him  "Infinitely shifting Plasma Containing Algorithm, which I designed to stabilize the worm holes, that is the mathematical equation that will make time travel possible" Mr Reed said "Hoe do you destroy math?!" OA said "I've never written the algorithm down,  or demonstrated it to another human being so it lives here in the old bean"Mr Reed said pointing to his forehead "And in the subbasement, in a diamond-hard neuromorphic accelerator" Mr reed said OA looked at him with a funny face "C-can we be serious right now?" Mr Reed said "Yes. No, yes" OA said "it's a hard drive, okay?" Mr Reed said, OA chuckled "God your such a child" he said to OA "sorry" OA replied "there is a crystal hard drive running the algorithm in a closed loop, that is the nerve center of the accelerator" Mr Reed explained "Okay so we go there, destroy the hard drive, prevent time travel from being invented" he said as the came to a stop at an elevator "Theoretically time travel-" Mr Reed started but was cut off "my God your killing me with theoretical!" OA told his dad "Yes that should do it" he said "Good let's do that" OA responded as they got in the elevator
