20. Jealousy

"Hey" Sidney said to Dewey. "You found my father?" She asked. "I'm afraid not" he responds. "Um, I'm gonna go get a drink.." you walk over to the fridge and open it. You see one of your (favorite soda) sitting in the back. You smile and grab it.

15 Minutes Later

The doorbell rings as everyone is leaving. You and Sidney are trying to find Tatum. "Tatum, come on!' Sidney yells. No response. You walk over to Stu and lay your face on his right shoulder palm. "Such a stupid day.." you say in a grouchy way. He pats your head. "RA!" Billy scares you. "Billy, hey!" Sidney said. He looks at Stu with a weird eyebrow raise then at you. He smiles while looking you up and down.

"Billyy, hmm, what're you doing here?" Stu said weirdly. "Was hoping I could talk to Sid, alone" he said while looking at her. You feel your heart sink a little. "You know, if Tatum sees you here, she'll draw blood" she joked. "I'll tell you what, how about you guys go to my parents room to settle thiss?? Talk? You know..whateverr?" "Subtlety, Stu, you should look it up" Billy says annoyed.

"No, it's okay, we do need to..talk" Sidney said. Your lips go to a little frown and you look down. Billy walks past smiling at you. You sigh and walk past Randy upset.

7 Minutes Later

You get up from the couch to go and check to see if Sidney is okay up there. You go up the stairs. You go to Stu's parents room and open the door slowly. Your jaw drops and your feet stumble. Your heart breaks and you feel dizzy. You see Billy on top of Sidney kissing her neck and moving along her a little. You close the door and run down the stairs with tears. You run to the bathroom and close the door.

You kicked the wall but then hurt your toe. You look in the mirror. Why are you even crying? You wouldn't of even had a chance with him. He's Sidney's, not yours. You look into the sink and close your eyes with your tears streaming down. Was it jealousy? Obviously. Randy was right. You do like Billy. Wait. Not like. Love.
