"Holy shit! Ghostbur..you scared me, man. What- what are you doing here? Where's Techno?"

"Oh, Techno said he went on a trip and told me to stay here with you. What are you doing here? What happened to Logsted?" Ghostbur smiled at the boy who lied his head back down on the armrest of the couch.

"It's, uh, a long story." Tommy quickly changed the subject, not wanting to try and explain how Dream blew up his home. "Did Techno say where he went?"

"No, I don't remember. He just said to watch you."

Watch me?

Wrong choice of wording from Techno.

Tommy didn't speak again, just closing his eyes again. He didn't know what time or day it was, and he was way too tired to try to find out.

"So what do you wanna do?" Ghostburs voice bounced off the walls, cheery and playful. Tommy had a headache already, so his loud and excited mood was already growing more and more annoying, though he wouldn't say anything.

"I don't really know, Wil. I guess..I was just planning on staying here. I don't know. Did you want to do something?" Tommy asked sleepily, pushing himself up so he could look at the ghost.

"I mean..we could go adventure! Crimeboys!" Ghostbur cheered. Tommy took a deep breath, trying to think of the nicest way to reply.

"I don't think we can go out. We've committed enough crime for a while." He joked a bit, an underlying serious tone in his words.

More or so, he didn't want to leave because he was scared. He thought he had done enough bad things, and doing another would just cause unwanted trouble he wouldn't be able to handle.

"Awe, come on! We could go try to look for Techno!" He exclaimed, still smiling widely. Tommy sighed, staying calm.

"I think we should just wait here, respect his privacy, y'know? We can find something fun to do, Wil." He promised him.

--

Dream had seen Techno go through the portal, heading into L'manburg with an invisibility position. This gave him the perfect opportunity to get Tommy, even though the timing wouldn't play out.

Techno wouldn't know either way.

It was..perfect.

If he was alone, it would be easy enough to just take him, even if he fought back. If someone was there with him, which he didn't know who Techno would trust to be there, it would be a little harder. He had to make up a story in a second depending on who showed up at the door.

It was around eleven when he showed up. He watched the surrounding area for awhile, just making sure Tommy wasn't out.

It was dumb that he didn't watch after to make sure Tommy didn't leave, but the lights on in the house indicated at least someone was there.

--

"Holy shit. Ghostbur!" Tommy called, hiding behind the corner, out of the sight of the window.

"What's up, Tommy?"

"Dream is here. You can't tell him I'm here, alright? Please just do this for me. Just tell him you're the only one here, Techno left and that he can't come inside." Tommy panicked, grabbing Ghostburs arms tightly so he could look at him eye to eye.

"Okay? I'll try!" Ghostbur said happily, walking to the door to wait for Dream.

Meanwhile, Tommy looked around worriedly for something to hide him. He knew he couldn't go back in his hiding spot, but there was nowhere else.
