Zaylia woke up in her and Dylan's bed. She decided she needed a power nap. And she was right; she felt so much better. She had also slept off the jealousy that she would never admit she felt. Deciding it was time to get up, she rolled out the of her bed and checked the time. Her face scrunched up when she realized she only slept for thirty minutes. She shrugged knowing it was probably best that she didn't waste a beautiful day on sleeping.
"Afternoon sleeping beauty" Dylan says as he walks in and Zaylia just hums in response. The brunet shamelessly allowed his eyes to roam her legs as he stalked up behind her as she prayed perfume on her wrists.
"Have I told you how beautiful I think you are?" He whispers as his rough yet soft hands caress her arms. She shivers as his lips ghost over the back of her neck. She swallowed before clearing her throat and moving away from him.
"I don't know, have you?" She says, picking up a gold necklace with a moon pendant on it.
Dylan stands stuck in his place with a puzzled expression. He turned towards her, trying to understand her meaning to add distance between them.
"Well, I guess I'll have to keep reminding you, huh?" He smiles charmingly and makes his way over to her again, helping her attach the necklace behind her church she was struggling with. Zaylia sighs upon feeling him so close to her. She was trying her best to not let her emotions slip through but she couldn't help but feel bugged about Robbie's gorgeous daughter that she came no where close to matching in the beauty department. She had never felt insecure before. Mainly because the guys she ever gave a chance were....she didn't want to say ugly but let's just say they had personality.
"Jasmine's pretty, don't you think?" Zaylia says. She knew it was a low blow but she just had to bring it up. Dylan's face scrunched up in confusion before he sighed knowing exactly why she was acting the way she was.
"Are you... jealous?" He smirks. She spins around with a neutral expression.
"No. I-It's not like we're dating..."She crosses her arms, glancing at her feet for a moment. Dylan's gaze softened and he lifted her chin to look at him.
"What if I wanted us to?" He says swallowing nervously. He leaned in with the intention to kiss her but she gently places her hands on his chest to stop him.
"Dylan, I really like you. I really do. But you're going to Milan and then to after back to Hollywood..." She sighs fighting off the urge to cry. She couldn't bear the thought of not seeing him ever again.
"I'm willing to try. For you. We can visit each other and text and call everyday. I just want to be with you. I want to be able to call you my girlfriend" Dylan rests his forehead against hers and she bites her lip in contemplation.
"Only if that's what you want. If not, I'll stop whatever this is between us... even if it hurts me" He whispers. Zaylia shakes her head and fists his shirt.
"I...I want to. I want you" She breathes out.
"You'll be my girlfriend? Really? It's been three days" Dylan chuckles and Zaylia smacks his arm hard with a small smile of her own.
"Shut up" She smirks before pulling him by the hem of his shirt and planting her lips on his. She was his. And he was hers. Even if it was long distance, she was willing to try for him. She hadn't known him long, but she knew he was different from the rest and that was all she needed. And she had this new amazing family and couldn't be happier. This weekend was the best thing to happen to any of them.
Dylan smirked against her lips and deepened the kiss. His tongue made its way into her mouth and a few throaty groans left them as it began to get heated. But being human, and needing a stupid thing called oxygen, they had to pull apart. They were breathing heavily as they rested their foreheads on one another.
" You're so beautiful, Zayli" He pushes a strand of hair from her face and she smiles.
"You're very pretty yourself, fader"
The two of them leaned in again but the sound of screaming made them stop and pull away with frowns.
"I bet you.... Five bucks this has something to do with ur dads doing something stupid, and another dollar if it was my dads idea" Zaylia says confidently.
"You're on"
The two made their way to the main lounge room and noticed it was empty. The screaming was coming from outside so they followed the commotion.
"What the hell is going on?" Dylan asks as they spot everyone huddled around in a circle.
"Robbie got attacked by an Indian" Marcus tells his daughter.
"Yeah, but he got away" Eric says.
"Really? That's sick" She laughs and Dylan shakes his head at the girl. As they get closer they realize that they weren't lying, an arrow was going straight through Robbie's left foot. All the women were screaming at the sight. Sally gagging. Curly's obnoxious barking not helping the situation of panic
either."Daddy what happened?"
Everyone looked towards the source of the voice and Zaylia's eyes widen again when another gorgeous looking girl starts running towards them. She was Asian with beautiful brown hair and tan skin. Zaylia couldn't believe it.
"You'd got to be kidding me" Zaylia mutters awe struck.
"Amber. I'm glad you got here. This is my daughter Amber, everybody" Robbie says between grunts of pain.
"You got another one?" Kurt asks.
"Ahh, this is killing me!" Robbie yells in pain.
"Bridget, come down here, Daddy's hurt!" Amber says."You got another one?" Kurt says with a look of disbelief.
"Yeah" Robbie grunts. Everyone watches as a shorter looking girl comes out. Now, this one, Zaylia could understand. Poor girl got a lot of her dads genes.
"Hey" She says. Zaylia's eyebrows shoot up. She even sounded like Robbie.
"Oh, okay" Lenny says.
"Hey" Lenny, Kurt, Marcus and Eric all mock in laughter.
"Now I get it"
"Robs her mom and dad" Marcus laughs.
"Now that makes sense" Kurt says.
"Shut up" Robbie sneers. "Foot, arrow, why?" He whines
"I- I think we gotta pull it through" Eric stutters put a suggestion.
"Oh, let me do it" Marcus says.
"It was my idea, I said it first!" Eric books loudly.
"Don't you hog it. Don't you touch him!"
"Shhh! Shhh! We're all gonna be all right here" Gloria shushes the men and their bickering.
"Damn" Zaylia whispers impressed that she was able to shut them up.
"All we need is a poultice with some maize that will draw—"
"Oh, shut up!" The whole group was stunned at Robbie's sudden outburst. The guys pursed their lips in amusement as if they were expecting the snap.
"That poultice shit doesn't work. It never worked. Are you insane?! Get some alcohol on this bitch! You should know plenty about that. You were porn during prohibition!" Robbie finishes.
"Wow" Eric mouths wide eyed to the group.
"Whoomp there it is" Zaylia mumbles and Marcus brings his fist to his mouth to cover his laughter at his daughter inappropriate joke.
"That was bigger than I thought it was gonna be. Wow" Lenny mumbles to them as they chuckle quietly.
"Snap, crackle and pop" Kurt chortles.
Who's idea was it to be 'attacked by Indians'?" Zaylia uses air quotes. The group looks at each other before pointing at her dad who stand there with an innocent smile.
"Pay up" Zaylia whispers to the boy standing next to her.
You just love stealing my money, huh" He Saugus handing her six dollars.
"Pfft, I'm sure you'll be fine Hollywood" She smirks before kissing his cheek.
