While the dads had left to spread the buzzers ashes, Zaylia had changed into some dry clothes after the incident in the lake. Now, she was sitting in the living room with all the girls and all her makeup was spread out on the table. Donna and Charlotte had come up to her begging for Zaylia to do their makeup, and with the permission of their moms, that's what they were doing. Even Becky sat with them since Roxanne said it was okay, only if it was just a little bit.
"What's this?" Charlotte asks holding up Zaylia's eyelash curler.
"That's an eyelash curler. It helps make your eyelashes look longer and more lifted" She answers as she applies some concealer under both girls faces. Zaylia was always the friend people would go to for doing makeup, and she was fortunate enough to have a friend who left their concealer with Zaylia. So it was perfect for Charlotte's skin tone. It was only the slightest bit lighter, but it worked since it was concealer and meant to brighten the face.
Dylan sat opposite of the girls and he stared at all of Zaylia's 'crap' as he called it, not understanding why she needed all of it. There was easily over 30 items sprawled out, each one doing something different. He just couldn't wrap his mind around it. So he stayed quite and watched instead.
"I can't wait until I'm old enough to use this stuff on my own" Donna grins.
"You've never stolen any of your moms makeup before?" Zaylia asks with a small smile. Donna and Charlotte look at their moms before bursting into giggles making Zaylia join them. Deanne and Sally shake their head with small smiles.
"Mommy says I'm too young for makeup" Becky says as Zaylia applies the smallest dots of concealer under her eyes. Just to brighten the tiniest bits.
"Your mommy's right. But don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to get to play with stuff" Zaylia says and Roxanne smiles.
"Can I be next?" Dylan asks, leaning against the table with his arms. Zaylia smirks and raises a brow.
"And here I thought I was the princess" She chuckles. Charlotte and Donna give each other looks before laughing. They always teased Zaylia about her and Dylan.
Once Zaylia finished with concealer, she moved onto contour. She was going for a very natural look, so she wouldn't be adding to much. She just added some where the face needed it.
"I wish we didn't have to go, I love having a sister" Becky says, making Zaylia stop mid application. A found smile grazed her lips before continuing.
"Me too. But you'll have so much fun in Milan. You'll get too see a bunch of pretty girls wearing this stuff" Zaylia tries her best to cheer her up.
Roxanne was taken aback by Becky's comment. She hadn't realized how much of a liking Becky had taken to Zaylia. Dylan too. She was beginning to feel contemplated on going to Milan. Her kids seemed to be loving it at the lake house. Well...half of them at least. And to hear Becky call Zaylia her sister made Roxanne's heart warm.
Once Zaylia had finished with blush and some mascara and lipstick, clear mascara and Lip bomb for Becky, the girls finally got to look at themselves in the mirror. Each of them ran to the mirrors and looked at themselves in awe.
"Wow" The girls say.
"I look so pretty" Charlotte says tilting her face in different angles.
"Me too" Donna beams as she puckers her lips. Zaylia laughs.
"Thanks Zayli!" They say in unison and Zaylia shrugs with a smile.
"You were already naturally pretty. I just, made it more defined" She replies.
