Welcome to the opulent lives of the privileged and damned students of Constance Billard Academy. It's the same old game of scandal, lies, and seduction, but this time with new players.

𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: thomas was always told that he was mature for his age. instead of playing tag or cards, he was always spending his time daydreaming, reading, writing, practicing his art, or observing. he was always observing, taking little notes on the world around him to use as inspiration. don't feel intimidated or challenged by his clear gaze, for he is just trying to appreciate the life around him. sometimes he can get too caught up in his studies, so je may seem a bit inexperienced in small talk and the language of slang. thomas is typically kind to others unless provoked, so don't be afraid to approach him, or call him by a nickname, for he will definitely be nice and more open when he gets to know you more. he admits, though, that je is quite indecisive, and prefers to stay neutral on debates. all in all, thomas is just that one friend you need that will listen to you and help you whenever you need it, as long as you can prove you would do the same for him.
𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒚: saying that thomas has had an easy life would be a lie. at an early age he and his sister were shipped off to live with their grandparents in new england. his parents were dysfunctional and has no business raising children. thomas and his sister, amelie, were primarily raised all their life by their grandparents and had little to no contact with their parents outside of letters and the occasional holiday visits.
when he began attending constance billard, he was quick to be labeled an outcast. everyone immediately thought of him as a scholarship kid. he's not. and he doesn't need to be looked down on any more than he already is. the rumour came about because his everyday clothes were supermarket-bought and he easily lacked all of the luxuries the other students paraded around like the latest cars and newest phone. for this reason he was quick to join the spades clique.
the spades didn't care about his lack of money and designer clothing, instead they found him to be refreshing because of how different he was and thomas felt like he belonged with them. as for his family, his relatives collectively pay for the tuition fees, and are adamant that he'll never get anywhere if he doesn't go to a 'good' (rich people) school.
unfortunately his relatives would likely not approve of his choice of interest. they expect him to take up something boring, like politics or medicine or law like his sister — the three fields that people in his family tend to go into. but he dared to be different, dared to think that he could do anything other than conform, and instead found interest in what he's passionate about; art.
𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒔
1) though thomas has portrayed a good boy-next-door image while at constance billard, he actually has a delinquent past and has been sent to juvenile detention centers several times. though he has been clean for over a year now the past of it still lingers behind him.
2) thomas keeps the classes he takes and his passion for art a secret. though he plans on becoming a professional artist he knows he must keep this plan a secret because if it gets out, his parents would likely pull their tuition from constance billard and send him to an ordinary high school.
