Techno was up almost all night worrying about Tommy. He barely knew what happened in his exile, but what he heard was horrifying.

He wanted revenge on the fucker who did this, but he told himself to keep peace until Tommy was safe.

But seeing how he reacted to just the simplest raise in tone or the misunderstood words and actions, he definitely wasn't.

Techno even considered keeping Tommy there until he was deemed better, but that seemed obscure. Who was he to keep the kid. It would be just like Dream, taking him in and keeping him there against his will, or convincing him that it's best when it not might be.

God, this was all so confusing.

Techno couldn't care for a child, esspecially one like Tommy. Although he wasn't acting right, that only made it worse. Techno would have to be really careful about what he did to help him, because nay wrong move and he would be again seen as bad.

The one thing that shocked him the most was what he said about jumping. Techno didn't quite understand what he meant, but he said that he "survived", and that gave him an idea.

He tried to..kill himself.

There was no other answer he could reason with.

Tommy also didn't sleep. He was very jumpy, and couldn't go to bed somewhere he didn't know. He was afraid Dream would find him if he did.

The blanket Techno gave him was not enough to cover him, as he still was shivering from the cold. The couch was terribly uncomfortable too, so while he sat there, curled up in a little ball, he could only think of how it poked into his sides.

Soon, enough, he just got bored of sitting. He wanted to..explore, look around the house. He knew it was probably a bad idea to just start walking around, but he couldn't care less. Maybe he would find an exit just in case, or he could get something that would help him otherwise.

He left the blanket on the couch, creeping out from the room. He walked on his toes so it didn't creek the floorboards. He gave a glance around, specifically towards where he thought Techno was sleeping, then made his way into the kitchen.

He didn't want to turn on a light, although it was almost too dark to see anything. He got really careful with each step, making sure nothing was in front of him before he went.

Once he was in the actual kitchen it was a little better. Som light came in through the window and shown on most of the room. It was only the moon, but it was better than the patch black in where he was before.

He didn't know what he was looking for, but he searched. He admired how clean and in place everything looked. Even the marble counters were just very shiny in the reflective light.

He didn't need to go through the cupboards, he assumed it was just cups and bowls, ect. The counters were empty except for a wooden knife holder in the very corner.

And of course, it was full of different kinds of (kitchen) knives.

Tommy ignored it and turned away, but his eyes just kept checking back at it uncontrollably. He desperately couldn't give in again, knowing what happened last time. Techno would be completely and utterly pissed if he found out that Tommy had gone behind his back and done it again.

It seemed irresistible, though. He couldn't get his head off of it. Even after he completely left back to the couch so he could at least try and get some sleep, the knives were all his brain would focus on.

Maybe..maybe if he just did it lightly it wouldn't show as much. He could hide it. He could control himself.

He infact could not.
