"You've said that." Damon says, rolling his eyes.
Vivian nodded as she stood up. Quickly she put on her clothes. "You're different...but you're also the same." She tells him, patting his shoulder as she walked past him.
Damon stands. Slightly confused. "What the hell does that mean?"
"The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it, he'll be a true hybrid." Elijah's voice had gotten louder as Damon and Vivian entered the living room.
As she entered, she ignored the looks Elena and Stefan were both sending her. Instead, she just smiled at them and sat on the other couch aside from the original.
"Then why are we letting him break the curse?" Damon said, determination and anger lace his tone. "We can kill him today. With Bonnie."
"Damon." Stefan chided.
"No. Bonnie can't use that much power without dying." Elena says.
"I'll write her a great eulogy."
"Damon." Vivian said, this time.
"It's not an option, Damon." Elena said.
"So, how do we break this curse without killing our witch friend?" Vivian says, riling her eyes as they all stair at her once more.
"The ritual itself is quite straightforward." Elijah begins. "The ingredients, so to speak you already know."
"The moonstone." Stefan says.
"A witch channel the power of the full moon...to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire...will sacrifice one of each."
"And where do I fit in?" Elena asked
"ThE final part of the ritual." Elijah walked over to the bookshelf and grabbed a box. "Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger...to the point of your death."
The air shifted as Stefan went to grab Elena's hand. Vivian crossed her legs as she listened. The whole plan a bit ridiculous in her opinion.
"And that's where you come in." Elena says towards Elijah. He owns the box and pulls out a vail.
"This is an elixir that I acquired some 500 years ago for Katerina. It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation." He explains.
"So I'll be dead?"
"And then you won't."
"That's your plan? A magical witch potion with no expiration date? You wanna come back to life, what about John's ring?"
"Those ring's only work on humans. A doppelgänger is a supernatural occurrence." Elijah chimes in. "Odds are the ring won't work."
"I'd take those odds over your elixir. What if it doesn't work, Elena?"
"Then I guess I'll just be dead." She says.
Damon shook his head and walked away. Cleary not happy with that conclusion. Vivian sighed. Biting the inside of her cheek, she inwardly debates going after him.
