DISTRICT 12- The Hall of Justice

There's a pause, everyone in Peetas section turns to look at the boy who's face is filled with shock and hints of anger.

     Everyone in the room feels shocked having expected it to be Gale having seen his face before the name was called.

Screen goes to Clematis's face and if you look closely enough you can see that her jaw is clenched and had glossy eyes.

      The ones with significant others all feel empathetic towards them, especially those who put themselves in Peetas shoes earlier.

     Some send both the boy and girl pitiful glances which they both ignore having been used to them but disliking them.

Peeta is shown walking up to the stage with the Peacekeepers once again forming a barricade around the him.

Effie waits on the side, the same way she did for Clematis. She puts a hand on his right shoulder and guides him to his standing point same as she did for Clem.

EFFIE: Here we are. Our Tributes from District 12. Well, come on you two. Shake hands.

Effie steps out of the middle.

Clematis and Peeta face each other when Clem gets a flashback.

DISTRICT 12- BAKERY- FLASHBACK

Peetas mother smacked him,and pointed towards the pigs giving younger Peeta the burnt bread.

Clematis is seen leaning on a tree under the leaves so not much rain could get on her.

Peeta sees her there.

       "Is that how you first met?" Lily Potter asked her goddaughter.

      "No." Was all that came out of the younger girls mouth.

      "We met when we were children." Peeta said knowing that Clematis wasn't comfortable around other people beside her family, himself, Gale, Haymitch, Cinna and Effie.

       Lily a little upset that Nova didn't really respond, but understood why, just nodded her head respectfully at the boy.

DISTRICT 12- THE HALL OF JUSTICE

Peeta and Clem look at each other in the eyes, hold each other's hand out and shake them.

Trinket walks back to the middle were the microphone stood and spoke.

EFFIE: Happy Hunger Games.
And be the odds be ever in your favor.

     The victors all laugh at the saying all knowing that they were never really in their favor.

DISTRICT 12- WOODS- FLASHBACK

A group of five sitting together.

                "Who's that?"

Gale next to Katniss who was laying down picking at the grass.
           
Peeta who was admiring Clem as she laid on her back looking at the clouds.

               If he ignored Clematis' grey eyes and the way she lacked colors on her clothes he could almost see her. The way she laid her head on his lap as she looked into the sky.

           Immediately shaking his head at the thought of her 'No. She's dead. And it's the things we love most that destroy us.'

And another boy named Erik.
