"Mary! Mary!" David called, shaking me. At first, everything was scary and confusing. I realized I had been crying, wet tears still lingering on my face.
"W-wha'?.." I asked, dazed and confused.
"Shh, it's okay baby. It's just a nightmare," David coaxed, holding me to his chest, rocking me. I wiped my tears away, my clock said 2:46 am.
"Do you want to talk about it? I mean, you were screaming, crying, and thrashing around so I assume it was really bad," he asked, looking into my eyes. Tears pricked my eyes; was it really my fault they died, like Morgan said in my dream?
"You don't have to," he said, his eyes softening.
"Do you want to go to bed?" He asked, and I shook my head. After that, I'm not sleeping for awhile.
"I have an idea. You close your eyes, and I'll read to you," he said, and I laid down, closing my eyes. After three chapters of 'How To Kill a Mockingbird,' I was falling asleep.
"Stay," I mumbled, "I will," he whispered, shutting off the light. After that, I peacefully drifted off into sleep.
-9:03 am-
"Pumpkin, wake up," David said softly, taking the covers off me. In response i groaned, pulling the covers back over me.
"Cmon, Lauren's here already. I let you sleep in the latest I could," David said, opening the blinds.
"No," I pouted, putting the pillow over my head.
"Yes, get up please," he said, then walked out.
I groaned, and rolled over, falling on the floor.
"Owww," I whined, rubbing my the spot on my head I hit. I moseyed to my closet and picked out the outfit above. Brushing my waist long light brown hair, I braided it in a cute loose side fishtail, so when I take it out for her to do my hair it's not a big deal. What's David's girlfriends name?... Laura? Layla? Lauren? Lauren. I sprayed some perfume on, and did my makeup; foundation, concealer, winged eyeliner, blush, and mascara. Then Michael came in, sneaking up behind me, and poked me and I screamed rather loudly, and ran towards my closet.
"Hey, David's getting fussy. Are you coming down?" Michael asked, and I shook my head.
"Aww, why not?" He asked, giving me a puzzled look.
"I-is L-Lauren nice?" I asked, realizing I was shaky and have clammy hands, and I was freezing because I was so nervous.
"She won't bite, I promise. Are you okay? You've seemed... Off... Lately," Michael said, and I nodded.
"Well, I suppose I'll have to carry you down before David kills me," he chuckled, lifting me up.
"Hey! Put me down!" I yelled, thrashing in his arms.
"Not until we are downstairs," he said stubbornly, making me groan. Over the shoulder, he carried me down, me screaming the whole time.
"MIKEY PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled, ensuring everyone could hear it. Once we finally got downstairs, he playfully through me on the couch.
"What was all that screaming?" David asked, and me and Michael pointed at each other. I'm guessing Lauren, giggled. She's also very pretty with her blonde hair, dark brown eyes, and small frame.
"He scared me," I said, blushing and looking at the floor.
"Typical Michael. Come eat breakfast," he said, and I saw pancakes, bacon, and eggs waiting for me. They were so delicious!
"Who made this godly food?" I asked, wishing I had something this good every morning.
"I did," Lauren said.
"This is Lauren, Mary. I agree, she's an amazing cook," David said, giving her a peck on the cheek.
"Hi sweetie. After you're finished I'll start your hair and makeup," she said, smiling. I finished a pancake, some eggs, and a strip of bacon, I've never had a big appetite, really. I put the dishes in the sink to do later, and sat on the couch.
"Alright. So for you, I picked ginger blonde to go with your blue eyes," she said, showing me the color. I liked it, actually.
"And... I'm just gonna rub it in your hair, then you are going to take a shower, put this conditioner in it, wash everything out, and it you'll have a new 'do!" She explained, and I nodded as she put the cold liquid on my head, rubbing it in. She put a shower cap to let it 'bake', then I took a shower, did the conditioner, got redressed, and then she started makeup. She wiped everything off, and started putting things on. It took about half an hour, then she was done with the makeup, and it looked amazing!! (The makeup look is in the video above is what Lauren put on Mary.) My hair was three shades darker, considering my hair was a very blonde before. Seriously, like barbie blonde. But I like this shade, it goes perfectly with the makeup.
"Aw, you look beautiful, hun!" Lauren gasped, and I looked in the mirror, I loved it!
"My little sis' all grown up, huh?" Michael asked, smiling, and I nodded.
"You look beautiful, honey," David said, he was smiling too.
"Thanks," I blushed, looking at the floor. For the first time in months, I was happy.
