"Thank you, Snotlout, for your undying support." Hiccup replies with sarcasm thick in his voice.
"No- thank you, Hiccup." Snotlout tells him, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Hmm. I wonder if Viggo's paying the bounty with Berk's gold?" Fishlegs questions with a troubled Heather standing next to him.
"That much irony should be illegal. Let me see that." Tuff snatches the bounty off of Snotlout, examining every inch of it before frowning.
"Wait a minute, there's no mention of us at all!" Tuff huffs as Ruff prods at the bounty, sharing her brother's annoyed expression.
"It's all about Hiccup," Ruff complains snarkily.
"Pfft, typical! I demand a bounty be on us immediately! And that the hounds be released!" Tuff declares dramatically, putting on his theatre voice slightly at the end.
"I'll put a bounty on us," Ruff tells him, causing Dracul to smirk while crossing his arms.
"Then I'll turn you in for gold," Dracul jokes, slightly serious, but the twins ignore him.
"Thanks, sister. I know I could count on you. All right, we'll need flattering pictures for our flyers; a creepy alias: mine will be Nutte Tuff." Tuff explains in his theatre voice, gesturing expansively as he speaks of his creepy alias.
Ruff looks at her brother, impressed.
"All right, enough about the bounty. Mine and yours. We have other things to do." Hiccup states and Heather steps forward.
"I hate to say it, Hiccup, but it might be a good idea to lie low for a while until this cools off," Heather suggests, knowing how to deal with bounties after being a Bounty Hunter.
"No way. That's playing right into Viggo's hands." Hiccup counters and you speak up.
"Hiccup, Viggo's put this out now because he knows about the party at Berk. He knows that you'd go laying low would counter what he thinks you're going to do." Your words make him relax a little as he considers his options.
"Heather was a Bounty Hunter. You should probably listen to her," you add, making Hiccup sigh, looking at you softly.
"Y/n, it's Berk's 400th anniversary. You know what my dad would do to me if I missed it?" Hiccup sighs before feeling your hand on his shoulder. Your gentle touch relaxes him slightly.
"If you told him about the bounty he'd understand. You could still go and be safe." You counter, but he shakes his head.
"No, I've already lost Berk's gold. I can't tell him about it." Hiccup sighs, not wanting to ask any more from his father, "Besides, I can handle it."
"I don't know, Hiccup. A crowded, public event is the perfect place for bounty hunters to slip in undetected." Fishlegs states, supporting your argument.
"Fishlegs, I appreciate your concern, but no. I'm not hiding from anyone. We're going to the party." Hiccup replies, his stubbornness getting in the way of his rational thinking.
Again.

While everyone gets ready to go, you walk over to Hiccup's hut leaving the dragons to play outside. You knock on wood since his door is open. Toothless lights up upon seeing you and bounces over.
You scratch under his chin before he bounces off to play with the group of dragons you're bringing along. Hiccup turns to see you, smiling gently as he walks over.
"What's up?" Hiccup asks while you look down at the wood planks, nervous about his answer.
"I just want to try to change your mind about this," you explain, and Hiccup tilts your head up to him, making you look at him.
