Days passed slowly, lost and though,
You gave me hope and now there's only,
Blood running in my veins,
I've never been here before,
And I got love falling like the rain,
I never could've asked for more,
I got so much soul inside my bones,
Take a look at me now,
I'm young forever in the sun,
Ever since you came I'm living,

Houston, Tx"Mama can we please stay here for the rest of the year?" Beyoncé asked pleadingly as she looked at the mini countryside mansion her parents had bought. This was vastly different than her home in France, but from the moment she stepped foot off the plane and into the countrified Texas, she knew she wanted to stay here forever.
"Honeybee we talked about this. This is only our residence for summers baby" Tina sighed out as she held Bey's little sister Solange on her hip.
"But we have the house forever. You said nobody but the groundskeeper would be here during the school year" the little girl whined as she was so in love with her temporary home.
"That's right, but you still have primary school in France. We said we'd revisit the topic when you go into middle school and get used to using your English more frequently"
"But mommy I'm in accelerated classes because I'm already fluent in both French and English" Bey acknowledged proudly as she knew it wasn't because she was behind or lacking in the language department.
"Solo isn't though baby and she needs to be in France to learn all that she needs to know. That way when you hit middle school, she'll be at your level now and it won't be such an issue"
"Can you at least think about it? Please? Can we at least not end with a mean no?" Little Beyoncé begged with her hands clasped together while practically getting on her knees with how much she was squatting to dramatize the situation. Tina switched her weight onto one foot and rolled her eyes at her oldest daughter. Beyoncé loved to put on a show and she knew if she stayed persistent that she'd eventually negotiate something that was previously marked off the board of possibilities.
"I'll talk to your father about it, but that doesn't mean he's gonna say anything different than what we've been saying. You know he's the one running the show with his new job requirements" Tina sighed out, feeling guilty for somewhat falling for the puppy dog pout that was painted across her baby's face.
"You promise?" Bey asked as she stuck her pinky out and watched her mother look at her in confusion.
"I saw one of the other little girls adding this to their promise at school mommy. She said it makes the promise more.... Promise full?" she unsurely raised her voice because she didn't know the right word to put in place at the end.
