Humans, mostly females, have been constantly sold, auctioned, placed for prostitution, or been killed under the fangs of another vampire. That's because a cruel law has been passed onto humans ever since they've taken over.

This law has been accepted under the control of a new council group and after its immediate action, humans have been legally stripped away from their freedom. Due to many being resistant and unable to accept that their lives may instantly be over if making the wrong decision, riots were made and they spread throughout the entire country as many protesters were either arrested or killed.
