Thanks for checking out "Those Who Rattle Quietly"! I wrote this during the isolation of lockdown in the throughs of depression and based some of it on my experience of living in the east end of Vancouver (arguably Canada's Skid Row) while attending film school in my early twenties.
A trigger warning for those who appreciate it:
This story contains drug use, sexual content, coarse language, depictions of mental illness (including depression and anxiety), mentions of suicidal thoughts, and graphic descriptions of death. Discretion as to whether or not this story is for you is, of course, advised.
If you do choose to indulge, I hope you enjoy it. I'll be dropping new chapters weekly until I have them all up here--editing them a bit as I go.
Happy reading, folks.
